I got 45 minute detention after school tomorrow with my english teacher Mr. Cook. So, I'll take this interesting book I bought at a swap meet a while ago.
"The Story of the Human Race" by Henry Thomas, Ph.D.
Written sometime around the 1930s (Copyright page says "Copyright, 1935" while above it, it says "1937 Garden City Publishing Co."), its 547 pages cover early human history, along with Moses, Jeremiah, Buddha, Confucius, Plato, Jesus, Joan of Arc, Leonardo da Vinci, Machiavelli, Napoleon, Karl Marx, Charles Darwin, Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi, and many more! Its last chapter stops at Mussolini, Hitler, and Roosevelt.
Interesting read? I do say so!
And for the low price of two dollars.
I bought the story of the human race...
for two dollars.
