Real trees are the best.
They just make the house smell lovely, and really bring that holiday-spirit indoors.
This one's pretty spectacular.
...
(And its amusing watching kitties climb in them like mine used to do :])

OMG what a CUTE pic!!!!!!! This is ur other half?

Check out my tree! First year its not real since i was little...but to make up for it...its black and "trendy" i think that wat the young kids say these days.

Really miss the smell tho!! (omg look at my gap YUCK)

Does Sam love ur real tree??? My cats attack it!

@kiwisrus Yup, that's Linda. She's been asking to make a cameo on DailyBooth and this seemed like a great opportunity. Dorky holiday shot for the win!

I am so loving the smell of this tree! Every time I come in the room, it wreaks of awesome.

Sam is taking to the tree well. Mostly just sleeping under it. You'll note there are no low hanging ornaments.

i'm not sure why but that made this really funny.

I am so darn jealous of ur awesomely wreaking tree :| And I was just telling my partner the other day that we need to invent a christmas tree flavoured plug-in or incense!!

Uh yes the no low ornaments, I know all about this...especially now having a 19mo old with sticky fingers and a fetish for shiny things and also balls lol.

YAY black tree, looks good, dont smell good tho *sigh* BUT on the upside polished wood floors and a real xmas tree are a mission to keep clean. YAY no mess!

@kiwisrus NO! We're getting all the cold and no snow. believe me, the first good snow we get here you'll be seeing a Dailybooth of me out in it. All I'm saying is it better snow before I leave for New Years!

Yeah I would imagine a 19month old and a cat are at about the same level of SHINY! GRAB!

oh my gosh, that tiny little star on top is adorable! I LOVE the way real trees smell! but I know Thurop (rabbit) would just eat it. :/

Also, the other half should make more appearances, b/c she is very pretty!

@lesoleilnoir Yeah, the eating is why we have no bunny. Sam just tends to sleep on/in things. I will pass along the compliment. She was excited to get to be on DB but refuses to get her own.

@awed_job It's kind of intentional. Those are the drum pads for Guitar Hero -- it makes me laugh that they Disney-ify the bookcase.
