    sorry for the crappy angle... it's been a roller coaster of events this last month. sorry for abandoning you all. it's actually the first time since about a month ago where 1. my camera is not being used to skype with a certain person, and 2. i'm actually awake after skyping with said friend so i can take the picture.

    How are all of you? i hope you all are well. like i said, life has been crazy for me, personally and socially.

    i would have done more with this picture, but i am falling asleep (so i have to write this blurb faster). Tonight was work i was cleaning some shelves and i totally fell asleep...twice. ANYWAY, here's another hiking picture with me and Smash. This time we did Mariner's Ridge which is past the Hawaii Loa Ridge trail...

    The view from the top is supposed to be the same, but the view and the breeze were soooo much more worth it going up Mariner's Ridge. =D

    Happy Valentine's Day everyone. It's still Singles Awareness Day for me, but i had some valentines today. I went to work and had a lunch date with Ash (the carnation is from when she went to work at the the basketball game), and then went to A+ and had @machew be my valentine (but he didn't give me anything). Unexpectedly, my other coworker gave me a rose because i was feeling down, and she called me her valentine =D

    I got flowers =D i never get flowers. This makes today a good day. Not just a good day, but a good v-day!

    This is my friend Ashley. Her nickname is Smash (but i usually call her Ash). She is the shit.     Anyway, we went on this really long hike on Hawaii Loa Ridge on Tuesday. It was basically a 7 mile long hike (up and down) and it took us roughly 5 hours to do. As you can see, there were ropes we had to climb (this was one of the first). Looking back on it, i think it was kinda fun. Would i do it again? I'm still pondering that. Some days I say yes, and others i say no. My legs still hurt and it's Sunday =D

    writing a speech for one of my dearest friend's wedding. I have to finish this so i can record it and send it on to her in Australia by next week. She's been going through a horrible ordeal with the girl she chose to be her bridesmaid, and if i could have made it, she would have chosen me. I'll definitely be there for her wedding when she comes back to the islands in a few months. I'm doing as much as i can to help her out with music, and she asked me to write a speech to either be read or played at the reception <3 this is only the beginning.

    Listening to KCCNFM100 streaming radio is making this night pretty darn good

    my sister @brightspring came into work this past weekend and took a bunch of pictures of me working with the canon camera she was borrowing. =D so this was me at work... they cam out pretty well i guess.

    So this is me hard at work. They had me cleaning the shelves with Goo Gone to get rid of all the sticky residue from the labels. Fun right? not so much. My wrist is all sore now...

    This has been on my mind a lot this past month. What it means to be a friend, and what it takes to maintain a friendship. I invest a lot into the connections I make with people and for those that I let in, I'm protective and loyal to them until they completely destroy my trust.

    Over the past couple of days I've been worried about one of my friends because she's been sick. I was unable to be there at the hospital tonight because of certain reasons. I was very conflicted and frustrated and worried tonight. I chose not to go...for her benefit, but she already knows the truth and understands so that's all that matters, not what anyone else thinks.

    What are your thoughts on friendship? Tell me about a friend who has a big impact on you.
