I was walking with your left hand in my back pocket
And I stared at the sky while you kissed me
And you were running away, away from everything
And I stayed behind so you'd miss me
And all these words would sound so sweet
I could care less about you
Care less about you
And I love the sound of you walking away
And I can see clearer and I'm getting closer
To finding out to just who I am without you in the way
So hold me
But only for today
God has cared for these trees, saved them from drought, disease, avalanches, and a thousand tempests and floods. But he cannot save them from fools.

Today I found out that the people I called friends, "Wished I was dead."
Little do they know, I'm a 17 year-old trying to get away from hiding depression and emotional pain with illegal painkillers. Little do they know that I've been contemplating suicide for three years. Little do they know that I'm not as ok as it seems. Little do they know... little did I know they weren't the friends I thought they were.
