in my opinion she was picked because of her character/image..
im not saying she cant sing because she obviously can..

in all fairness i believe that xfactor is a fix,
it claims to be some unreal show that changes peoples lives for the better by opening peoples eyes to their talent
when really it is just a way simon cowell can make money
he doesnt care if good singers have their hopes and dreams crashed,
