@maea05 - I read a book about Medical myths, and reading in the dark doesn't damage your eyesight, in fact your eyes focus better at close ranges in the dark, which is believed to be to give you greater hazard perception in the dark so you don't run into objects :) Xx

@casioclark may I haz that book for ze mother? xD She is convinced I strained my eyes on purpose to make her life miserable by having to go to and pay for appointments and stuff =D Well, maybe I did... That must be why I have awesome coordination at parties. Can't say the same applies in daylight though :)

@DearAriana - and now I shall tell you the story of how I lost my glasses.

one fine saturday last year, I was very intoxicated and decided it would be a good idea to throw the food I found on my friends back seat of the car out of the window at passers by. Mainly party snacks, I must add. So basically, whilst leaning out and ridding the car of said snacks, I looked back at my victims, and my glasses fell off out the window and on to the road. heck, I was so drunk, It didn't even register in my mind they might be needed, and were expensive. and that, Is why you shouldn't drink.
