    I woke up today, and went to give Minty his little morning stroke, like I have done just about every morning since I got him, when I was 8 or 9 years old, and unfortunately, he’s passed away. So I just thought I’d write a little paragraph in his honour. He was, and always will be a best mate, I couldn’t explain why even if I wanted to, but he just was. No matter how bad I felt, he just had some weird ability to cheer me up.

    Dear Minty, wherever you are now, make sure you remember me, ‘cause I know I’ll remember you. I love you, mate. Sleep well.

    i have just discovered that this guitar, is one of the prototypes for this particular model of guitar. which, while it’s still worth very little, not being a very desirable manufacturer, i find such things to be actually rather groovy, regardless of who made it.

    oh, how i wish i had read the paperwork that came with it when i bought it, instead of reading it 3 or 4 years later.

    today, i stripped...
    ... everything off of this guitar! so it's ready for re-painting. it dosen't really show well on here, but it's really chipped around the edges, and scratched up. i'm not actually sure what i'll repaint it with, probably just a few coats of clear satin crap, 'cause it is actually quite a nice lump of wood. but ignoring that, i'll be stripping the old paint off in the week, hopefully. i might even do some woodwork (and marine tex) magic, and convert it from H/S/S layout, into H/H, just for a laaaaugh :)
