Saw "Tapped" in the union theater. It's a documentary about the bottled water industry... quite educational. I wasn't a fan of the propaganda-style rhetoric that the film used to get its point across, but I was a HUGE fan of the message.
Stop drinking bottled water! Use a refillable bottle and fill it at your tap or a water fountain.. believe me, it's just as safe as the water you get in those bottles (if not safer).
Just watched Paranormal Activity in the union.. hadn't seen it since its release. This is the pure joy that was on my face the whole time... there's nothing like a good film.
Sure, the people in the theater could try to ruin the experience with their incessant talking. I did have to turn around once to hush the girls behind me. But my point is that that film is CRAZY good and it takes a lot to ruin that.
I haven't seen the second... I plan on it, but I don't foresee it being quite as good as this first one. The first was a total fluke... a low budget forced some really great talent to make do without all the fancy effects of a big budget film. That's what made it so good.
Incredible film.. couple minor things that bugged me, but overall just crazy good. I'm a sucker for law movies.. I do actually want to go to law school after I graduate, so I guess it makes sense.
