I found this book in our library today while looking for the technical manual to my Volvo. This book used to be my grandfathers back in the 1930s! It's so unbelievably awesome to read through it and read the little notes he made. Maybe someday my grandchildren will flip the pages of my Latin books... lol
Tomorrow, all I have to do for school is show up and sit around, drink tea, and surf the web all day. Pretty awesome, I must say. 'til tomorrow for my 100th booth!0 commentsOctober 14th, 2009

I'm alive, I promise!
I hate being busy for a while and then not being busy for a while because when I'm busy, I forget to do stuff I absolutely need to do and when I'm not busy anymore, I forget to do anything whatsoever. At least I'm not busy anymore. 'til tomorrow (probably).0 commentsOctober 11th, 2009

Writing my prospectus in the living room late at night. Fun times.
Had 3 midterm tests today. My brain has been thoroughly fried. Now I finally get to sleep for the first time in about a week. 'til tomorrow0 commentsOctober 7th, 2009

Woo, sunburned face, cross country uniform, and white as heck arms/shoulders!
Remembered that I forgot to booth yesterday while running up this massive hill. So here I am boothing in the early afternoon. Now I get to write a prospectus for my thesis, study for a Calculus test, History test, and Latin test (monday, tuesday, wednesday, respectively) and get all my crap (teacher recs, personal essays, audition materials, various applications) together for college. Then I get to practice! YES! .......I'm beginning to hate October.

This was from a while ago. I don't know how/why we decided to do this, but we did.
Rehearsal tonight was sooo bad. We had to move to a different school to rehearse, because or usual spot is being torn down and reconstructed. During full orchestra, we were stuck in a cramped band room that smelled like a porta-potty and during sectionals we violas were strewn about an art room with no soundproofing to speak of so we heard everything the horns were playing at near full volume. On top of that we were sitting on these tiny little stools (instead of standing up, like we ought to have been) and our sectionals tutor had terrible musical interpretation. *sigh* mini-rant over. So that's why I am tired, look like crap, and am uploading tonight. 'til tomorrow0 commentsSeptember 29th, 2009

Not a very exciting picture, but then again, when is it an exciting picture? Still tired, although I can feel my legs now and they're not happy (tight and sore). More evidence I'm tired: 1) Backed my car into a wooden post today. Just barely scratched the rear bumper, so it came off alright. 2) Tried talking to one of my friends but it took me at least two minutes to decipher each sentence they said and another two to come up with a reasonable and coherent response. 3) I started smelling phantom smells that bring back strange memories. It probably would have helped if I had gotten more than 4 hours of sleep. Perhaps tonight's sleep will be better. 'til tomorrow
91 pictures as of this one. I wonder what I should do for # 100...0 commentsSeptember 28th, 2009

I. NEED. SLEEP!!
Woke up at 6:30 AM, ran a 5k, watched 2 soccer games, watched practice from Singapore qualifying from Singapore, practiced Shostakovich, went to a tailgate party that lasted 3 hours, went to a dance that lasted 3.5 hours (with the CRAZIEST rave I've ever been in), went to Village Inn and ate pie and drank water, and THEN I got to come home. Current time 1:34 AM. I'm sunburned too, which sucks, because my face will be peeling on Monday. Sigh...that's alright though, because my feet hurt and I can't feel my legs, but I think they're in pain as well. Good morning DailyBooth! 'til later today0 commentsSeptember 27th, 2009
Calvino is a 19 year old male from United States.
About
Calm, cool, collected, Czech (by genetics), violist. With that out of the way, I'd like to say hello. I sunburn way too easily, which is unfortunate because I don't like sunscreen and I like to be outside. There's a river by my house (well, we call it a river. Elsewhere it'd be a stream) and I like to walk along it's various banks and skip rocks, take pictures, and make youtube videos by it. Awesome fun times, let me tell you. I also play the viola, as I said before. I play in the Albuquerque Youth Symphony which is cool and awesome. Anyway, that's me, for the most part. Follow me if you like, even if you don't know me.
