A day off today saw me get back to reality and have a good hang out. I had a Yum Cha lunch with my dad and then enjoyed an afternoon off, sitting at the computer doing a whole lot of not much. Then, the evening came, and I had dinner with my beloved Keely. You all know her from photo #47. I hadn't seen her in about 40 days so we had much to catch up on because I had missed her. It was a great evening with many laughs and delicious Thai food.

In the time since i've seen Keely, she has also moved house and I was honoured by being the first of her friends to visit... I'm a lucky guy (and she's a lucky girl, the house is beautiful!)

I went out to dinner this evening with some friends. Andy and myself headed in early to stop at our mates' house. One of them runs the vintage clothing store out the front of their place and it's awesome. I took a jacket from inside and went out to shoot today's photo... Cool!

Today I took my break and ventured downstairs to the front of the Como hotel which is basically connected to the Ch10 studios. The sun was 30 minutes away from going behind the buildings across the road and made for an interesting view of the hotel and it's front facade.

Here i'm sitting on a white pylon type of thing looking up/down Chapel Street as it's just beginning to get busy from the hometime traffic.

I have tomorrow off, but I'll be back.

Happy Easter everybody! I hope you've all been having a wonderful day and long weekend!

I spent my day today at my Pop's house and also my Nan's. Family is nice. At my Pop's house there is this spare bedroom that is no longer used for very much. Before my Nan passed it was her little room where she would sew and read and sit. It's actually a nice room and I forget how much I like it.
In the family this room has become known as 'the secret room' which is cute, sure but is a bit silly because it's not secret at all. We know it's there, so I don't know who we're fooling haha.

I took a spare 10 minutes to shoot in here today as there was some lovely sun peering through the window at a nice angle. I must admit, I committed a horrible sin and boosted the brightness in this a touch so you could see my face as I was lacking any sort of flecky. But get over it, unless you're the man who invented the camera. Then i'm sorry. Please keep being amazing.

Okay enough. I must go and get ready now for a wonderful evening with one of my best friends ever.

#25 - No Reply

I'm sure a lot of you do this. Finish work, get into your car and reply to your messages that you received during the day. Although I have access to my phone at work, I don't always have time to reply and in walking to my car, found myself messaging my 'kind of' friend Sally Lewis.

I say kind of because i've only really met her one time, and I was very drunk. But that one time was a special moment and we have many mutual friends and she loves to drink tea so we're pretty much best buds. And, although this is titled 'No Reply', Sally replies to me. Usually. Haha

Anyway, here I sit in my car, responding to messages. Boring in thought, but kind of interesting (for me, anyway) to see what I look like being a 21st century text whore.

Happy Good Friday, everyone!

This year was the first year I didn't even catch a glimpse of the Good Friday Appeal. Which means I didn't catch a glimpse of the tv stars doubling donation money by reading out peoples names on tv. Drats, that's always just so exciting.

I took a little walk in a break with my friend Sigrid as she wanted to show me some places around work that I might be able to use for my project. This wasn't one of them, but is where I ended up for some reason. I don't know why. But what I can say, is, that there are some VERY cool places around so keep your eyes peeled as they may pop up in this project soon...

My right arm looks like it's been starved of food for a long time.
