I get made fun quite often for being a vegetarian/not eating fried food. I used to get offended, but then I saw this quote the other day and it made me realize. I honestly can’t help that I don’t eat meat or fried food. I have horrible stomach problems and that type of stuff just does not settle well with me. I am also a strong supporter of animal rights and I don’t believe in eating/harming them. And honestly, I truly enjoy eating a lot of fruits and vegetables. So why do people make fun of me for what I can’t help and what I believe? Beats me…but I’m not going to let it bother me anymore.
I’d much rather eat like this than be shoving a Big Mac down my throat, clogging up my arteries, and making my ass fatter than it already is.

Alice in Wonderland is my all-time favorite book/movie. It has become kind of cliché, as in everyone loves it. But seriously, when I was 5 I had un-birthdays for my stuffed animals almost every week and pretty much watched the movie daily. It’s just so much nonsense, but all sense at the same time. Just like me. Maybe that’s why I like it so much.

Disney World is truly “The most magical place on Earth”. I can’t help but get giddy and childish whenever we get to go. We only got to walk around Downtown Disney today, but it was still wonderful. We went in so many shops. I have to start saving up money for all of the Disney things I want. I pretty much grew up on Disney and I still haven’t grown out of it, so I was in heaven. I ended up caving in to get a Cheshire Cat mug and a large package of Alice-themed tea (which may be tomorrows photo inspiration…). I am so excited to start using them and trying all of the teas ! Tea is my favorite, I swear I’m really British. Haha.
These are my siblings. There’s me, my brother Elijah in the stroller, my sister Allison who isn’t looking, and my other sister Emily who is just weird. Oh, and there’s Buzz Lightyear, of course. It was still absolutely freezing today, but I continued to love it. Cold weather and tea are just my things !
Tonight was absolutely amazing. I went up to Orlando this afternoon to meet up with my best friend Jessica Evans and my other good friend Nicole to go see a show. Let me just say that is was extremely cold for Florida. It was literally in the 20s. I was so stoked ! I love cold weather and bundling up and seeing my breath ! There was a chance of snow, but unfortunately we did not get that. Maybe some other time…Anyways, I was so excited to see my friends and felt so lucky to spend some time with them. They live in Tampa, so it’s not exactly close to me, but we still keep in touch and remain close. We hung out for a bit at the Mall of Millenia and did some shopping, of course. That mall is amazing, by the way. After that we had a delicious dinner at Moe’s and headed to Downtown Disney.
When we arrived at the House of Blues, I already felt slightly emotional. We were going to Heavy and Light, an acoustic show To Write Love on Her Arms puts on to move people and raise awareness. I strongly support this cause, considering I have lost two family members to suicide and have also personally battled depression and self-esteem issues. So many amazing things happened tonight right in front of my very own eyes. I truly felt privileged to get to witness so many great performances and speakers. I was so inspired by all of them. Especially Zach Williams, Jamie Tworkowski, Aarom Gillespie, and Anis Mojagni (please go look Anis up, he blew my mind). It literally meant the world to me, especially since Jessica (the girl in the picture) was right by my side. I have confided pretty much my whole life to this girl and I hope she knows how much she has helped me. Anyways, it was just incredible and I really enjoyed myself.
I got to take a taxi cab home. It was quite interesting. But mostly, just really sketchy. The taxi guy had no clue where he was going, even though it’s his job to know…Haha, whatever. I’m laughing about it now. Unfortunately, our hotel doesn’t have free wireless. I guess I’m going to have to post this tomorrow then. So lame. Oh well, it just matters that I’m documenting it now.
These are two of my good friends. The boy is Chris, we’ve known each other for about a year or so and we seriously have the best times together. He is one of the sweetest, most caring people I know. And he always knows how to cheer me up or make me laugh. And the girl is my best friend Amanda. We’ve been best friends for two years and I seriously do not know what I would do without this girl. She’s my other half…no really; we’re like attached at the hip. Haha, we’re always together and we’ve been through so much. I’m so happy I have her !
Since I am homeschooled, I don’t get to see these two lovelies as often as I would like. However, whenever they have a late start day, I play mom and take them to breakfast and school. So cute. These car rides are the best, we seriously laugh so hard about the dumbest things. Like today, we all really wanted a cigarette and there was some guy in the car across the street smoking one at a red light. We were trying to convince Chris to run out there and ask the guy for three. He almost did it, but the light turned green and the guy drove off. Hahaha. Alright, maybe it’s not that funny, but we think it was. Anyways, I will always remember treasure the mornings I have with these two.
I made a new recipe ! It’s vegetarian friendly. And it’s super healthy. I pretty much just combined all of the foods I had to eat for my meal plan into a stew. It turned out to be amazing ! I am really in love with it and I’m so proud of myself. I’m going to have it for lunch tomorrow also.
Just in case you’re interested, here are the ingredients:
1 fresh tomato (diced)
½ cup of fresh broccoli
½ cup of fresh green beans
2 Morning Star tomato and basil vegetarian burgers (diced)
1 container of vegetarian broth
I just pretty much put everything in together and let it boil. Then I let it simmer for about 30 minutes and presto ! Wonderful vegetarian stew(o:
P.S. I found out I got straight A’s in my first semester ! That is a really big accomplishment for me.

My mother somehow got me to go to the grocery store tonight. I’m already not feeling well, but it was around 40 degrees outside. I don’t even know why I agreed. Oh well, I got what we needed. My whole family is starting to eat healthier since we pretty much each like shit now. I definitely think it’s a change for the better. We need it and my mom and I finally decided to push everyone else into actually going through with it. We’ve always talked about it, but never really “got around” to doing it. But we are now, and that’s all that matters. And the best part is, we have the support of each other to keep going !
Today was not the best of days. I didn't really get that much sleep last night because a lot of the time, my dreams are so vivid that they wake me up. And that occured a few times last night. On top of that, I've been really sick for the past two weeks. It doesn't seem to be getting any better, which is awful. I mean, I know I have a weak immune system, but two weeks ?! You've got to be kidding me. I'm also guessing that my little beach trip in the cold yesterday didn't help. Oh well, I'm going to try and sleep it off tonight.
Kind of wish I had someone to cuddle with though...
Today, my best friend and I went to the beach. Mind you, it was about 40 degrees outside. Yes, we are crazy. Delray beach is one of my favorite places. I feel like it’s my second home, comfortable and safe. We have had some of the best times down on the Ave.
We had a lovely little picnic of Burger King on the beach. It was magical. We wrapped up in our Snuggies and started to eat. But then dumbass Amanda let our bag flyyy with the wind. And all of the french fries scattered on the sand. And then, you guessed it…the seagulls ATTACKED !!! It was awful and some 12 year olds caught it on tape. Not cool. What also was not cool was that Amanda and I didn’t have cute boys to keep us warm): What’s up with that ? But all in all, it was a good day. Especially at night. Hehe.
