So I'll be completely honest here. Because I'm always honest.

I feel very let down.
I feel let down by "friends" and by people.

I organised a gathering for today to show my best friend a fantastic day with nerdy people, so we could all hang out in Cardiff and just... have an awesome day.

Did it happen? It did not.

I cancelled it this morning, not for an emergency or anything, but because nobody was going to come.

I didn't have a backup plan for my best friend to enjoy the day (she's only here for another week), so we ended up sitting around my studio... doing nothing... reading comics... being bored... being miserable. Because I honestly expected people to show up. I've been to a gathering in Bristol recently, and in Bath last year... so why can't people hop the extra 35 (and 55) minutes to Cardiff?

Why is it that because I organised this gathering, nobody shows?

I advertised it well enough, and although I know there are only about 3 nerdfighters in all of Wales (myself included), surely the other two could come? Guess not.

I asked the night before for anyone coming to please let me know in any way possible so I know to make sure I'm there.

A simple "I'm coming" has taken me 0.8 seconds to type.

How many people told me they were coming? 0. Nobody wanted to come to my gathering, again. If they were going to, I'm sure 0.8 seconds out of their life for something they're attending anyway isn't hard.

This is the third YouTube Gathering I have organised in Cardiff, and nobody has come to any of them. It's fucking pointless.

I'm invited to England for gatherings and I attend, but be damned if anybody will jump the border the other way. It's not like you need a visa or anything.

It's either because people despise me with a passion enough to want to humiliate and embarrass me and make me feel worthless, or because people hate Wales.

The top and bottom of this is that my feelings are hurt, because I try to be a nice guy, I try to be optimistic and do nice things, and I get no positive reenforcement off anybody. However, as soon as I'm upset, depressed or suicidal, I only get shit off people for feeling bad. So HOW AM I MEANT TO FEEL!? I tried to be nice and organise a gathering, so other people organised other ones and attracted people from mine. I tried to be cool about this, hell ONE person showing up would be a brand new record for this gathering. There have been three Cardiff Gatherings in history, and only one person has attended any of them. Me.

Thank god for Kimber. Because without her I'd really feel worthless, and hated and unpopular.

She really is the best friend I have, and it seems once again, the only friend I have. Because everyone else wants to hate on me, ignore me and let me feel worthless, when I try my best to be nice.

Why bother, eh?
