    Sorry I havnt posted much lately. Been very busy & very sick. :( It sucks. Off to my friends Mary Kay party to score some awesome products and hang out with friends. Starting my new job at Cincinnati Children's Hospital tomorrow...Yay! Here is a photo I took yesterday at King's Island Amusement park before we had to leave cause I got sickly. :(

    Again. Too lazy to post a real picture. BUT! I promise to post some extra good ones this weekend when I'm not working! :) So I had my last full 8-hour shift at Allergy Partners before I start my new job as a Patient Care Attendant at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. I start Monday. If you don't know much about CCHMC, just know it is one of the premier children's hospitals in the country and the world, hundreds of kids are flown here each month just to receive treatment. I can't believe I'm going to be a part of it! I'm so excited!! I also started a Mary Kay Business, and so far it is going great!! If you ever need excellent skin care/cosmetics: give me a ring, email, or comment :). I'll hook you up! :)

    Ahh what a long day. Finished my pre-employment screen at Cincinnati Children's, now just the count-down until my actual start date. Yay I can't wait! I also started P90X last night and man does it kick your butt!! I didn't even make it through the first DVD. But I am determined. I gave myself a break today because I had too many errands (gonna do a dance DVD tonight) but I'm just going to keep pushing through the DVD until I complete one start to finish then move to the next. Yea it will take me more than 90 days but I'm okay with that. My health comes first; and with my heart condition I can't take a chance on pushing myself TOO far.

    -How is everyone's day? Glad its almost half-way through the week? I know I am. Working tomorrow bright & early!

    So.... I am posting a late daily booth because I have the feeling it is going to be a long night for me. I started the first day of my pre-procedure prep (sidenote: the stuff they made me drink was horrible!! I have tasted nothign worse than the substance they gave me. ECK!) & well, I am hurting and feel terrible. Tomorrow will be even worse considering I can only have clear fluids (no red or purple substances), popsicles, and broth. And I just have to keep piling on the different medicines until then. Monday can't come fast enough.On a side not tho, I am going to be starting P90X tomorrow. I am ready to get fit, and I don't want to do it half-assed either. It's all-or-nothing. Go big or go home. My brother has been doing it for a month and he has a six-pack. I just want to see abs, and any muscle definition for that matter. Maybe once I start I will do a before photo, and daily updates until the after picture occurs. What do you all think? Help support me!! After my dad's major heart surgery and my history of heart problems this is exactly what I need!-What is everyone else doing right now?

    UPDATE: I also have no makeup in this picture. What do you all think?

    Sorry for the lamer picture today guys-- My webcam is unfortunately not the best, but I wanted you all to see the cute shirt I'm wearing today to the festival. What do you all think? I think the skull tube top paired with the striped cover-up is a pretty cute combination. :)

    I'm also going to my friends Mary Kay party tonight. I don't care what anyone says, Mary Kay is not old-lady makeup. They actually have some of the best skin care products around.

    I shall post some uploaded pics of tonight once my friends post them. I am lame and don't actually own my own digital camera. Maybe I will ask for one as a birthday gift?

    So...I saw HP 6 Last night, and this picture basically describes my thoughts of the movie. "?"

    I had absoutely NO IDEA what was going on the whole movie. Maybe it has just been a while since I saw the last one, but I felt like the scenes were jumping around a lot. If you saw the movie, what did you think of it? I have to say it definitely wasn't one of my favorites.

    Update: My dad is doing really well although I think he was having some major withdrawal symptoms from cigarettes today. He has been doing good so far without them, but he just looked rough today. He will make it though tho. He is a strong man. Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers during this time. I appreciate them greatly!

    So, my dad made it out of bypass surgery. He ended up getting 6 bypasses which I think is amazing that this problem went unnoticedfor so long, but glad that the result wasn't worse than what it could have been. He is already off the ventilator, up in the chair, and doing his breathing exercises which is impressive for someone hours post-surgery.

    The longest road is yet ahead. his healing process & changing his lifestyle will be the biggest challenges but I know he can do it. I have vowed to do so with him. I see what can occur to me later in life if I don't start taking the necessary steps to get healthy now. So I am going to make these changes with him. Dieting, exercise, the works.

    This is a picture from Friday (I am too tired and un-attractive to let you see me now) when I went out with friends to a karaoke bar.

    More updates to come tomorrow. Thank you all for the well wishes. It is much appreciated.

    Sorry I havnt updated. A lot has gone on in the last few days. On Saturday I took my dad to the hospital for chest pains. Turns out he had a mild heart attack, but things could have been much worse if this didn't happen now. His angiogram showed that all of his main arteries to the heart are 90% blocked, and looking like bypass is the best route. We will know for sure by the end of the day. I'm pretty freaked out right now, because right now I could have potentially been without both of my parents. It is almost 2 years to the day that my mom passed (June 14, 2007). I think this was a sign from her. We still need him. I will try to post when I can, but don't expect much. If you are the praying type, please keep my dad & family in your prayers.

    Sorry my picture is super boring & un-awesome today but I just woke up from a nap & didn't feel like being too creative. Maybe next time I will think of something super-neat to do with my dailybooth picture post. :) Any requests or ideas?

    My day was long, but overall not too shabby. I stayed out til 4 o'clock last night with my sister & friends. I had a blast; one of the few nights lately I have got to go out & do something. We went to the bar until about 2 just dancing & what-not, then went to a friends house to just chill out. By the time I looked at my clock it was 4 AM & I had to be at work by 8!! I made it work tho & survived a full day of work with no problems. Go me! :)

    && at the satellite office I work at for my job, one of the best patients (whom I havn't seen in a while) was complimenting my work ability (which makes ya feel good) & after his appointment he went to the store & came back & brought us candy!! It was so sweet. I love when I encounter patients like that. They just make you feel good about the job you do.
