    ever think if you got shanked/stabbed/shot/raped in the middle of the night in the city...what type of people would be around to help you? Do you picture people helping you that you would never expect to look your way? Be it social class, racial, ethnic, political differentials? They always help me in my head, because they are good. And I think of this often.
