today I fixed the power cord of my laptop by hitting the adapter with a drumstick. It's been making ridiculous chirping noises (think grasshoppers) and when it's doing that it won't work. sometimes it makes grinding noises and sometimes no noises at all, and that's when it's fine.
anyone know what's going on?
