i'm not sure what to write really
i've just been having a bad day, because people treat me like crap
i need to work up my reputation
do A work instead of AB work
participate in extracirricular activities that i don't enjoy but am just doing because they will look good on my resume
mold myself into someone i don't know
someone overly successful and praised by Jesus himself...

i hope you can hint my heavy sarcasm

spring break cannot come soon enough
but do you want to know what spring break will be for me?
working 5:30am-12pm Monday-Friday
studying to get all my grades up to AB's and A's
my only free time will be spent with my family and sketching
i am fine with that
but i'm just a little upset that my first spring break in college will be spent home and at work

hard work, depression, sweat, and blood pays

i am an action figure

when i was in the 8th grade
i told my ma i wanted to be a basketball star
she told me to work hard and not give up,
even though i was only 4'9 and looking up to be at max 5'1

i went to basketball camp that summer
i worked my ass off
showing my coaches that i was meant for this shit
point guard baby
post if they felt i was up for it
i pushed
i shoved
fouls calling out at me left and right

i lived for the game
i bled for the game
and then came the day that i nearly died for the game

last 15 minutes of practice
i was sweating oceans
i was rebounding and setting up the plays
i took a lay-up
came back to the ground

i came back to the ground
my whole body limp
my heart was beating so far out of my chest
i could not breathe
i was helpless

a couple weeks later i found out i had a heart condition that would take me out of the game forever

my heart broken even more than it was literally broken

it took four years to heal my soul
i came back to the game this year
they put me in as number one fan

i played the game

i felt the pain of each shove
the heartache of each loss
the joy in each point
and the happiness in the win

the game is in me
