Hehe, yep, no bed. We are staying at a Hotel in Frankfurt for the first two days to get over the +9 hour jetlag. Then we are off to Magdeburg to live with our friends until we get our own place + a bed :)

you know what? i am envious. i hate stuff - having so little of it must be somewhat liberating. and soon, you'll be over the jetlag (don't fight it too much, because your daughter doesn't care...) and all will be great. what an amazing adventure! best of luck.

Thanks, yeah, I totally looked at our big luggage bag today and picked out about another 5KG worth of stuff that I would have left behind.

We usually travel so light--but with the baby, it's nearly impossible.

If I ever get back to Thailand without the little one, I'll just bring the clothes on my back and some money :)
