Here's a recipe for the most chewiest, melt in your mouth, delicious chocolate chip cookies ever. It's super easy to make
Ingredients:
1 cup softened margarine (you can use butter if you want)
2 cups brown sugar (packed)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
2 cups of flour (I use all purpose)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
2 cups chocolate chips (more or less, whatever you want!)
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. In large bowl mix brown sugar and margarine together. Add vanilla. Beat in eggs.
3. Add baking powder, baking soda, salt. Gradually stir in the flour.
4. Stir in chocolate chips.
5. Drop by teaspoons onto a cookie sheet & bake for 8-10 mins. & ENJOY!!
Tips:
*If you don't have eggs or prefer the recipe without eggs. Substitute 2 tbsp. cornstarch per egg or use an egg replacer - works just as great! (I've tried both ways).
*If you want chewy cookies take them out around 8 mins, if you want crispy cookies leave them in a bit longer (10-12 mins).
*You can add 1/2-3/4 cup of rolled oats to make chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.
*Don't want to make all of the cookies? You can freeze the dough for up to 6 weeks.
*Add 1 tsp. of cinnamon for a bit of 'spicy' flavor.
*You might want to double the batch, they'll all be gone before you know it ;)
