Umm, so it's like.. Almost 3 in the morning, that meaaans.. I'v been drawing this for.. over 4 hours O_O I know it sucks and shit, but it's only the second drawing i'v been drawing in Photoshop CS5, so yeah.. Oh btw, its @danisnotonfire if anyone are wondering :3

INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST HOMOPHOBIA! :D

Hello (: I'm nimbus & i'm pansexual which means that I am attracted to people regardless of their gender.
For as long as I could possibly remember I have been attracted to people of any gender. I used to kiss girl's when i was in primary school to practice for when we had boyfriends, first kissed a boy when i was 15 on a bench in a park and he tasted like mustard and it was horrid. (: I've had boyfriends & girlfriends, and I have been through phases of being more aware of a certain gender, but it always settles that if someone is beautiful, then someone is beautiful.
Homophobia has affected my life in a number of ways, I admit it hasn't hindered my life as much as it has for others especially a close friend of mine in america. There is one stand out point of homophobia I have encountered when i was walking up through town late at night with my ex girlfriend hannah we were just holding hands walking through town and we had people throwing small stones at us and shouting things about were we not able to get boyfriends? how we were a disgrace and how we should be ashamed of ourselves. If anything it made me more determined to hold her hand, hold my head high and walk through town, not only to proove a point but to show my girlfriend that I didn't care who said what I wanted to be with her.

In a day and age such as this I do not understand homophobia.

INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST HOMOPHOBIA!

Hello my name is Tom and I'm a homosexual, also known as a massive gay lord. You may be lead to believe that being gay is decision to be made but it’s worked out slightly differently for the majority of us.

I've known I liked boys better than girls for a long time. The first person I ever kissed at the age of 14 was a boy, for goodness sake. As most youths do, I told my close friends that I was bi at first and going to such lengths as having a relationship with a girl, in my own words at the time "got to try these things once haven't you!". However, knowing I didn't have any real physical attraction to her and that the only reason I even went out with her in the first place was to satisfy my own curiosity for the opposite sex, the relationship broke down. After that, I'm sorry to say ladies, Tom was no bi/metro/pansexual in anyway. From then on I identified myself as homosexual but it wasn't until recently, 7 months ago, the issue was breached with my parents.

Its always been difficult; being called a 'queer' and a 'fag' since i was a young boy at school, never feeling quite the same as other boys developing and being the 'sensitive' one of the bunch. Homophobia should be stamped out of our lives as much as racist behaviour has been. We have the same rights as all human beings and our children and younger brothers and sisters have the right to be free and comfortable in their own skin no matter age, creed or place.
Stop homophobia NOW.
