went to see every time i die last night. they are one of the best live/intense bands i have ever had the fortune of seeing live. beyond words. the coolest dudes too.
Well, it was still FFTL, so it was still awesome. At this show they even had Sean Smith from the blackout singing with them at some points, which was pretty epic. Personally, I think their new album, Throne to the Wolves, is going to be amazing, from what I've heard so far.
@andrewpierre@PANTHER I would have loved to have seen FFTL with Sonny, I had plans to see them twice, but they cancelled the first one because Sonny had a problem with his voice and then cancelled the second because Sonny decided to leave, t'was a shame. But I agree with Panther, I saw them three times after Sonny had left and they were all amazing shows, it was particularly good to see them play kiss me, I'm contagious, and Matt Manning gave me a cookie for stage diving! =D
@PANTHER@lukemcinroy i don't know! their new stuff doesn't grab me as much. not to say that's it's bad by any means, but it just doesn't really do as much for me as 'dear diary' and 'heroine' did. especially heroine, but then again, that's my favourite record from them. even still, i'm still looking forward to their new album. :)
@lukemcinroy
OH YEAH. Kiss me, I'm contagious was actually just amazing. One of the best ones they played.
@andrewpierre
Dear Diary is probably my favorite...so I understand. and I was quite sad that I didn't get to see them live WITH sonny, but I'm also glad that they picked themselves up and are still a rockin' band. They definitely wouldn't have gone in this direction with him.
On a somewhat unrelated note...WHAT THE HELL IS SONNY DOING? Have you seen his solo stuff? It's terrible.
