A couple of Wednesdays ago (day after my previous pic). I went to Columbia to meet with an admissions worker and had a tour with a current student. Really nasty day outside. Raining all day. Yuck.
Went to an undergraduate informational session at Columbia University directed at undecided sophomores whose major declaration deadline was a couple of Tuesdays ago. Learned a lot and really excited about a happy envelope that may or may not be in my hands mid-December.
This is a picture of me at the '42 St-Bryant Park' station. As you can see I took the â’» train towards Coney Island to my house in Brooklyn.
And I'm the triumphant hero because I had just finished my first college interview! YAY! The lady from WPI was super nice and we hit it off from the start (not like that, though…). She was really young—late 20s, early 30s—and we had a very conversational interview. She didn't ask that many questions because my answers ended up being very circumlocutory and I feel like I didn't end up answering many of them. But I think she was just interested in getting a sense of who I am as a person.
Me at the AT&T store this past Saturday. We went there to get my mom's new iPhone 4S to activate. We had to buy a new phone and return the old one. What a lot of work for such a simple problem! (It's a bit more complicated than it seems, but that's another story.)
I'll be posting a lot more now that my iPhone has a front-facing camera. I would have posted this on Saturday, but the DailyBooth iPhone app is really facocked and won't let me upload pictures.
