Anthro club meeting. We've got stuff that people are excited about and everyone is pitching in. I hope we can do some fun stuff before the semester ends.
We're going to try to get to a primate sanctuary, go check out one of the smaller, local Native American groups, have a dance event with (maybe) a small class then performances of different styles of dance, and some other stuff.
Then there's school itself AND volunteering at FtVancouver. (I got to analyse munitions yesterday! That was fun.)
It's before midnight and I'm off to bed. Homework for tomorrow is done.
Tomorrow is another day of adventure, excitement, and really wild things. There's volunteering at Ft. Vancouver in the lab (YAY!), linguistics class (I've a presentation on magicians' patter and the development of language to create worlds/illusions/lies with appropriate videos), a couple of hours of down time (math homework!), then the three hour religion class (just finished a paper on Islam) and all the joy that brings.
Happily, the anti-cold medications are doing their trick and I'm continuing to take the zinc (which is vile but effective).
Yeah, right now my life is all me, me, me. Which is terrible as I'm already over-involved with myself and inadvertantly inconsiderate more often than not. Oh well. Ebb and flow, right? I am very lucky to have forgiving friends.
Awesome husband o' awesomeness is pointing something out...if only I knew what.
Long day today. Starting at Fort Vancouver at 10:00 did some volunteering help with the curations, then off to school for linguistics class, then massive cramming for a quiz, and my three hour class on cultural resource management. Got home after 9:00 pm.
I still feel blecchy, but am studying LAW. And analysing the rhetorical situation involving those laws.
Meanwhile, Gimli and his brethern drive a blunt-ended bolt through my skull--temple to temple--and I've got to get all the readings done for tomorrow's classes and prepare for several hours of artifact analysis.
And it would really, really suck except that I absolutely love doing the artifact analysis part of the day.
