    I'm slowly but surely loosing interest in DB. Not to say that I'm necessarily leaving, but I don't know how often I'll be around.
    But since I'm fickle, I may love it by tomorrow. Time will tell.

    Just curious, who would win in a literary fight between Baudelaire and Rimbaud?

    And which side do you take in the whole Ingres vs. Delacroix spat?

    Today is @rachaelxoxo 's birthday! Today we wandered about Ann Arbor collecting free things from random eateries and stores when we stumbled across this dog/cat statue. Naturally, we had to have a picture. The other picture is older, but I needed one of us together.

    Yes, today was Michigan Midterm elections and I hope all of you Michiganders eighteen and over voted! Unfortunately I don't know how to flip pictures so my charming "I Voted" sticker is backwards in the picture.

    I'm reading Lady Chatterley's Lover in its entirety tonight while frequently checking the prospective results of the election. It's not looking too good in the Governor race.

    This little kitten on my camera wishes you "Happy Haunting" for Halloween and so I do.

    For the time being, however, I'm working on deconstructing graphic novels as art, as literature and examining the gender and sex dynamics within them. Not only is it an interesting area of study that I feel passionate about, but I'm actually getting paid to do this. (Well, to be fair, I don't really get that much money, but anything I need to buy/pay for in order to do my research is funded--almost the same thing). Everyone should have a fabulous day and remember to celebrate the final days of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October).
