Today, I've been learning new things about Star Wars. <3
Apparently, Yoda was based on Tulky Urgyen Rinpoche! Lucas met him when he traveled to India as a kid. Don't go thinking I knew anything about Tulky Urgyen Rinpoche before today either, though. :P He was a Tibetan 'hidden yogi' in Buddhism, who died just back in 1995. Not only that, but the Ewoks speak Tibetan, and the scene where they're all praying to R2D2 and C3PO, I guess they're using legitimate prayers.
Once again, I have proven that I am the most inconsistent dailyboother ever. At least you know I'm genuinely inspired when I do it? ;P That's what I tell myself. I wanna be one of you guys... Really.
Christmas was simple, and perfect. I'm stranded, friendless in a foreign state and babysitting, so you'd think it would suck.. But honestly, it was great. Just me and Jesus. Some years, it's good to just reflect. Next year can be a party. (:
I got glasses, today. Beyond that, I've been pondering a book called 'Ethics' by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. I feel kind of like it's trying to trick me into a cultist thought process, quite frankly. O.o But hey, I keep reading.
This is me with a tan... and I'm still ghost white xD Especially in this picture because I have zero makeup on. The transparent skin will work well for this zombie thing me and my buddy Devon are planning. :D We're gonna zombify ourselves mind and body (he's in theatre so we are SET) and go grace a whole bunch of department stores. It excited me cuz the minute I posted the facebook status about it, the host of KissFM 'liked' it. We are totally gonna be on the news. :PP
