My everlasting craving for Thai food was fulfilled, if but for a moment, today. Let's just say I have the coolest grandparents ever. Oh and Grandma talked me into letting her buy that jacket for me.

Today is the universe's revenge on me for having such an ideal week.
And it's really still amazing but I'm just in a really bad mood and most of my least favorite things happened today.
Which just goes to show how ignorant I am to actual firstworldproblems.

Sigh.
Thankfully, SqueakWhimsical (who slow internet will not let me tag) is letting me hide from the world. at her house. while she naps.

I want a hug. It would make everything better.

I finished The Book Thief, today. It did make me cry, so I say it's worth the read. Even despite the 400+ pages that are utterly lacking (spare a satisfying description here or there) up until the end.

10 days til I step foot on Idaho soil. :]

I'm vain. And I'm ashamed of it.

'No shame in the reflection' isn't what I'm talking about. I'm all for that.

But I'd rather spend money to look pretty than sponsor a kid who's starving in a foreign country or down the street.
God, please fill me with conviction for the surplus I keep for myself. Turn me into a vessel strictly of Your love. Open my eyes to all the good I have the capacity to, and don't do.

I feel like this speaks for itself.
And yes, that is a nyan cat necklace made entirely of marker.

Lex (one of the girls I nanny) taught me one of those patty cake kinda games, of the hand variety, you know. Except it was called "Mamma mamma can you see"... Maybe I'm the only one who hasn't heard of/learned it before.. But either way. ;P

Beyond that, my day was filled with Olan Rogers, Skyping my friend Jack, and Adventure Time.

I feel like the current present is a tofu between the past and the future in the refrigerator of life.

Good for me, but with little flavor of its own. Absorbing the goodness on either side of it.

I'm appreciative of where I am. But I think this is how you know when it's your time to move on-- When you've tried to enjoy it from every angle and it's still empty somehow.

My Mom is helping me design my own website! Online portfolio of sorts. She is kind of the coolest. [[: We purchased the domain name and are now in the arduous process of me learning how to design. o____O But it's fun.
