ROUND 3
Time for round three of this game, if you guys even like it. I've selected some rules, and now the total rule list is as follows:
1. Initially, the pieces must move clockwise.
2. The moderator (me) will roll two six-sided dice and move your pieces.
3. When you make a new rule, you cannot cause another player to immediately and unfairly win or lose.
4. Rules cannot target specific players.
5. Red spaces are lava. If a player lands on a red space three times total, then that player's piece is removed from the board and he/she loses the game
6. Blue spaces are water. It a player lands on water three times total, then that player is immune from the next time he lands on lava.
7. If a player lands on a white space, then that player rerolls and moves backwards that number of spaces.
8. After fifteen rounds, the player closest to square C-5 wins the game. In the event of a tie, the non-tied players are removed from the board and the game continues for another five rounds with the same criteria determining a win.
9. Players may choose to forfeit moving to "turn around". The next round, their movement will be in the opposite direction from the previous round.
The players and their actions are as follows:
@SoSavannah (RED)
Rolled a 9 and moved forward 9 spaces
@heytallman (BLUE)
Rolled a 7 and moved forward 7 spaces
Lava total: 1/3
@oceana_roll (ORANGE)
Rolled an 8 and moved forward 8 spaces. Landed in water.
Water total: 1/3
@Qbacon94 (GREEN)
Rolled a 9 and moved forward 9 spaces.
@macaroon1 (WHITE)
Rolled a 9 and moved forward 9 spaces. Landed in water.
Water total: 1/3
@MisterRozz (BLACK)
Rolled a 9 and moved forward 9 spaces.
Rounds remaining before rule #8 is invoked: 14
So, now you guys actually have a minor choice. Do you wish to pass this turn in order to change directions? Right now, you are all going clockwise. Also, give me more rule suggestions!29 commentsJune 25th, 2010

@oceana_roll (ORANGE)
Rolled an 8 and moved forward 8 spaces.
@Qbacon94 (GREEN)
Rolled an 8 and moved forward 8 spaces.
@macaroon1 (WHITE)
Rolled a 7 and moved forward 7 spaces.

So, keep in mind, this is still a game based 100% on chance! What will the new rules be?19 commentsJune 23rd, 2010

OK, so this is insane, but I want to try it. I don't know if you've ever played the card game Mao, but basically, the winner of each game makes up a new rule. The first round, is of course, extremely stripped down. It plays a bit like Uno. But after several crazy rules are added, round 5 or 6 start to get really interesting.
So anyway, in a similar fashion, you six players and observers will be throwing out ideas for new rules. Each day I'll pick 1-3 new rules and implementing them. But for now, the only rules are as follows:
1. Initially, the pieces must move clockwise.
2. The moderator (me) will roll two six-sided dice and move your pieces.
3. When you make a new rule, you cannot cause another player to immediately and unfairly win or lose.
4. Rules cannot target specific pieces or players.
I've labeled the spaces with letters, numbers, and colors to assist you in making rules. Be creative! The game is EXTREMELY stripped down, and there aren't any win conditions yet. Make rules, alter rules, or abolish them. As moderator, I'll choose the best suggestions each day or turn or whatever. For now, you're all on the same start position, and I'll roll after we get some rules going.
Who knows. This game could either be awesome or horrible.
Also, you six players...pick your piece's color!
Any questions?39 commentsJune 23rd, 2010

I haven't done a @Werewolf game in awhile, but I want to try a new game idea I had first! So, I need SIX dedicated players who can probably play every day, and then the rest of you will be participating, but in another way entirely. This will be a type of game you make up as you go along. And truthfully, this is completely a test. And you may now have to do anything. So...SIX players. Post if you want to try this out, and apologies in advance if I don't pick you. I'll basically be picking reliable players who I've played previous werewolf games before. GO.

Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've donned the @Werewolf mask. We'll get a new game going soon. But first, I just wanted to say that I've done some statistical analysis. Over our 6 games, we've have a total of 38 players. I tried to determine who the highest ranking players are. Basically, in Excel, I said for those who have played in 3 or more games, who has the highest team win %, and who has the highest survival %. Here are my findings.
In terms of team win % (aka being on the winning team), here are the rankings:
1. @serahularat - She's played 5 out of 6 games, and of those 5, she's been on the winning team 100% of the time! Congrats!
2. @BryanBattleBear - He's played all 6 games and has won 5 of them!
3. @MisterRozz and @clarksw have each played 5 games and won 4! That's 80%!
Now, I consider a win to be simply being on the winning team. However, something special can be said about those who are not only on the winning team, but are also still alive. The rankings for those players who survived the most (and played 3 or more games) are:
1. @glamknittykitty - She played 3 games and survived 2 for a 66.7% survival rate. Sadly, she only played int he first 3 games. She should make a come back!
2. @serahularat - Wow, with 5 games played, she has survived 3! This includes game 5 in which she was the sole survivor!
3. @macaroon1 and @UltimateZeldaFan - They have both played all 6 games, and they have both survived 3. That's a 50% survival rate!
Anyway, I think we can see the star player is @serahularat. Of course, these stats are for fun. There are so many variables that determine a win. And there has been some iffy tactics. So no hate is meant for those who didn't make the list!
I'll figure out a way to share the full stats soon. They are pretty interesting.
A new game will start in a week or two! Until then, if anyone is interested in playing a somewhat aggressive game of Werewolf on a forum that my friend @BrockWood manages, let me know. We need DEDICATED and active players. I am not the moderator. Also, many of the current players are Brock's Air Force friends, but he is looking for more to make it a fun and interesting game. Message me @ZackScott.
ALSO, thanks to the following players who have played in all 6 games!

OK, we're going to discuss these rules one at a time, and have a nice discussion/vote on them.
The first rule up for debate is:
"Wizards may not reveal their true identity."
Keep in mind, this will be hard to enforce if they do so via private messages. Also, what happens if someone says something like "I'm not saying I AM THE WIZARD, but @soandso needs to die tonight." How do we enforce it? Should we just make it a rule that they cannot explicitly claim to be the wizard, but they can drop clues both big and small all they want?
Anyway, let's discuss this rule, and throw in your vote as well.17 commentsMarch 3rd, 2010

WEREWOLF - GAME 6
GAME OVER
HUMANS WIN!
Children were murdered and people broken unspoken rules, but the humans were victorious this game. In another rowdy game, @clarksw, the wizard, attempted to privately give everyone advice before being murdered. This led the honorable @BryanWolf13 confess being a werewolf and essentially out @oceana_roll as one too. He managed to pull of this off while maintaining his dignity. We will have much to discuss before playing the next game.
Congratulations humans! The survivors are as follows:
@crimsong19 - DEAD
@ethgania - DEAD
@BryanBattleBear - DEAD
@alissalee04 - DEAD
@hodgey123
@candytreko - DEAD
@BryanWolf13 - DEAD

We will take a short break to vote on a few rules and hopefully make Game 7 the best ever.

WEREWOLF - GAME 6 - DAY 8
Yesterday, the village decided that @WindLeader should be the next to go for allegedly being a werewolf. Perhaps it was just a joke though. In this town, due process is kept at a minimum.
The voting went as follows:
@hodgey123 - oceana_roll
@phainopepla95 - WindLeader
@oceana_roll - WindLeader
@WindLeader
@theatricalfanatical
@UltimateZeldaFan
@Wil_Whalen - WindLeader
If no vote is denoted, the villager did not vote. Remember to say FINAL VOTE when you cast your vote.
That night, @phainopepla95 was consumed in his entirety. Maybe the werewolves are getting ready to hibernate once everyone is gone?
Now it's DAY EIGHT! Discuss the events of yesterday and last night, and deliberate on who to lynch next!
The current players are as follows:
@crimsong19 - DEAD
@ethgania - DEAD
@BryanBattleBear - DEAD
@alissalee04 - DEAD
@hodgey123
@candytreko - DEAD
@BryanWolf13 - DEAD
@phainopepla95 - DEAD

@WindLeader - DEAD
@theatricalfanatical
@clarksw - DEAD
@JamesSunley - DEAD
@MisterRozz - DEAD
@UltimateZeldaFan
@Scribbles - DEAD

Remember, if you're dead, you can no longer contribute in any manner that will aid or confuse the village's strategy, nor are you allowed to claim an identity! Any such post will be removed.

WEREWOLF - GAME 6 - DAY 6
Last night, things got hot and heavy at the village, as accusations and conspiracies flew in and out. Ultimately, amidst the heated confusion, the villagers decided to kill @clarksw. In his desperation, he managed to get some votes switched to @BryanWolf13, but not before the guillotine fell.
The voting went as follows:
@ethgania - clarksw
@hodgey123 - clarksw
@BryanWolf13 - clarksw
@phainopepla95 - clarksw
@macaroon1 - BryanWolf13
@oceana_roll - BryanWolf13
@WindLeader - clarksw
@theatricalfanatical - BryanWolf13
@clarksw - BryanWolf13
@UltimateZeldaFan
@Wil_Whalen - clarksw
If no vote is denoted, the villager did not vote. Remember to say FINAL VOTE when you cast your vote.
That night, @ethgania was brutally murdered. Her bones were licked clean by werewolf tongues. Also, a child was scalped and left to die. The werewolves probably did that too.
Now it's DAY SIX! My, how time flies. Discuss the events of yesterday and last night, and deliberate on who to lynch next!
