    To the wary heroine sitting pretty on
    Her witness stand, reaching out
    Grasping nothing for there is nothing there.
    She leans close to feel the salty breeze tickle her neck,
    It cradles her with a kind of love she never knew existed.
    The water watches her.
    Armed and cool threatening her trust
    He tempts her with his siren call.
    They call.
    Sewing their tunes through the waves.
    Laughing and
    Singing, coaxing her near.
    Waves hugging her calves,
    She surrenders and sails.
    Gliding through his waves
    Her neck snapping back against the
    Rolling current.
    She floats twisted in the water’s gentle comfort.

    I've seen some really nast comments lately from girls who are so young.

    Like 14?! I don't remember ever being so rude when I was that age.


    Hopefully they'll learn that bullying isn't nice in any form.
    For now though, I just find it really pathetic and unfortunate.
    Obviously they have their own insecurities and feel the need to point out flaws in others.
