October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Everyone knows someone that has been touched by the pain of domestic abuse, and you probably don't even know it. DV is a problem that hides behind closed doors, a secret kept from even the closest friends and family members. It is a problem in our society that is largely under-reported and many women and men in abusive situations don't know how to get out!
Please re-post to educate yourself, your friends and your community! Post it on your Facebooks, forward it in your emails, copy it to your blogs! Of all the things that get reposted and forwarded these days please make this a priority! Domestic abuse is a big problem in our society and should be taken seriously by all.
