I've got a 50s-themed 18th to attend on Saturday, and mum's spent the last week making this petticoat in the same way they made them in the 50s.... BIG. there's about 30meters of material on the bottom tier alone!!!

She wouldn't let me help her with it, so i'm making most of the dress :) :)

HOW FLIPPING AMAZING IS IT?!!!!
*ahem* can you sew? can your mum sew? or your nan? or... your dad?!
Lets talk about sewing ^___^ i love it ever so much!!

    me and kelsie made my poodle skirt for said party... your petticoat looks damn amazing :D My mum can make clothes, and my dad can sew also :D he is pretty special :D

    Was the fabricc expensive? It's quitee nice. Youu could be a dancerr ehh!
    My mom taught me to sewww last summerrr :D She's the bestt hahaa
    My dad can't do shitt lmaoo except for business related stuff
    I wish everyone could take sewing classes, it's a lot of fun and is very creative!

    that's so cuteeee!

    i looooove sewing. my favorite thing is to take really weird stuff and alter it.
    i might be doing that today, in fact!
    i have this really long and ugly jumper that i got from a thrift shop, but i'm gonna cut it short and stuff it make it wearably awesome. i'm excited. =]
