    I got up so early this morning. Why, you ask? Well, I need to get in my hours at work, but the TV repair man is coming out to upgrade the motherboard, so I need to be back home by 3:00. The plus side of it all is that my weekend is going to start a bit early. Heck yeah!

    Just having some fun with Photobooth and Photoshop. It's a Boothshop! Both of my girls are making an appearance here!

    It appears that I truly am a geek with the dorky Star Wars reference and the hologram Photobooth effect.

    Look how nicely my beard is coming in on Neanderthal November day 12. I am so manly. Everyone show me their beard growth, or tell me how hot I am! ;)

    Took the baby out in the backyard. She loves to play with the leaves. Unfortunately, she also likes to put them in her mouth and she swallowed one despite me trying to fish it out of her mouth. I'm really glad she didn't choke.

    This is my first self portrait shot with my Canon EOS 7D. The lens I'm using is an 18-135mm EF-S lens with image stabilization built-in and f/3.6-5.6. I wish the f-stop was smaller, but this will do for my first lens. I love how blurred the background is in the picture.

    Just for sake of disclosure, my nose is highly photoshopped because it's pretty scraped up right now. But I want people to notice me, not my messed up nose.

    I am in love with this camera!!! I took some pictures of the baby last night with the camera as well if anyone is interested in seeing them, I'll post them as comments to this picture.

    I just got a Canon EOS 7D!!!

    The main purpose right now is for filming my documentary, but I'll definitely be taking advantage of my very first DSLR and shooting some awesome pics. Stay tuned!

    In other news, Neanderthal November is in full swing. The wife is coming around a bit and told me I look hot with a beard. As did a neighbor through my sister-in-law. RRRAWR!

    I freaking love autumn!!!

    Just took a stroll through the gardens, and played in the leaves! I was tempted to jump in the fountain, but the day wouldn't have seemed as pleasant afterwards, I'm sure.
