Right, so, not really been keeping to this whole DAILYbooth thing so far, good start... Been feeling a bit down the last few days, but I'm not going to degrade into one of those kids who whines and whinges about every little aspect of life, so, positive Tom. Been out and eaten tons of junk food (wooo!). Chilled at the park yesterday with mates then saw Scott Pilgrim which I have to say I found to be a fun time waster. At the very least I enjoyed the visual stylization as well as some of the classic humour from the supporting cast. Played games like there was no tomorrow too. In fact just got back from a mates after a light 6 hour session at his new place and I managed to fix my PSP by none other than smashing it over my head! Been listening to a lot of Pink Floyd as well, mainly The Wall, classic sounds. Supposed to be doing a load of garden related work for a woman I know this week end and I'm not relishing the thought, but it's a round £100 in my pocket for a days intense labour, so chin up, grin and bear it and all the other clichés. But occupying the time between now and then there should be fun, so here's to keeping on smiling! Also I realise I’m treating this a little bit like a diary, which I have never had any success rate with, so I’m going to have to re-assess why I’m here, and what I want to say and show…

BEHOLD!
SLINKY!
Been out to Windsor with @Diceman and I was torn between Slinky and Seamonkeys, price and lack of responsibility won :D
Tell me DB who here has had a slinky? I used to destroy them as a kid, get them tangled beyond repair or over stress them. This one shall be different I swear!3 commentsAugust 23rd, 2010

Been an interesting couple of days. Party on Saturday went well, the JD went down better XD. Saw a few old faces, some new ones and evidence that it is indeed a small world. Played beer pong for the first time ever too, I was awesome, best player amongst veterans! Went to a small school reunion tonight as well, saw even more old faces, which was nice. Sadly though I think I may have minor food poisoning, which is causing me grief on a fairly regular basis for the last 3 days and now the novelty has worn thin... It's raining too, which sucks as it means the TV signal is totally lost and the ending to the horror movie I was watching was shrouded in pixelation, followed by a total eclipse of blue :(. So DB, favorite genre to watch when home alone in the dark, during a storm?

Just woken up, sad pandas. I've now got to make a mission out of making something that resembles a lunch and get ready for a house party tonight. Eugh, taxis are expensive and I've yet to buy any booze for the event. Tell me DB, bottle of Jack or crate of beer?

Hello! This is my FIRST DB post, get me. I'm here for something to do in my days, maybe meet some interesting and funny people and who knows, maybe this will encourage me to actually achieve something on a daily basis? I have friends here, mainly Diceman and it's through his obsesion with this site that I've desided to create an account! And as I understand it, I have to ask a question with each post, even if i yet to have any friends on here... so...
How do you spend the majority of your time off?5 commentsAugust 20th, 2010
Tom is a 23 year old male from United Kingdom.
About
I'm a fairly open-minded day dreamer, designer and disciple of fantasy. I've just graduated from university and I'm now meandering through the days following varying interests at large before I settle down into a long term occupation.
Following them
They're following
Television
Pretty much anything funny and out of the ordinary. House, Lie to Me, Stargate, Firefly, Drawn Together, South Park.
Books
I mainly read for escapism, though, sadly I find myself with less and less time to paw through pages for relief. The Hungry Cities Chronicles, The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness, The Edge Chronicles, The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever, The Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Lord of the Flies, The Watchmen.
Music
It dawned on me recently that without music my life would be a lot blander, and far more quiet. Sadly though I can't play to save my life and I can't carry a tune either. I mostly listen to classic rock and metal but this hardly defines my collection. Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Bad Company, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, Guns N' Roses, Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Supertramp, Ben Folds, Disturbed, Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Del Amitri, Drowning Pool, Foo Fighters, Korn, Muse, Metallica, Mumford and Sons, Nickelback, Nirvana, Rammstein, Scissor Sisters, Stereophonics, Thin Lizzy, Tool.
Movies
I love film, almost as much as I love music, and again, here is just a short list of some of my favorites. The Last Samurai, I Robot, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Alien Quadrilogy, A Good Year, How to Train Your Dragon, Both the Ace Ventura movies, Ali G in da House, Altered, Anchorman, Conan the Barbarian, Event Horizon, Evolution, V for Vendetta, Hot Shots Part Deux, Man on Fire, Princess Mononoke, Serenity, Shooter, Super Troopers, The 13th Warrior, The Fountain, Zombieland.
