My hat from Times Square on New Years Eve! Not a bad experience overall....kinda. 8 hrs of standing around in one spot wasn't exactly appealing.
Ok, it really wasn't all that great. Indeed, the Ball Drop is, by far, the most overblown, overstated, and over-televised event in New York City. Why do we need to see the "largest crystal ball in the world" drop a few feet to ring in a new decade? Then again, when has humankind ever been sensible in regards to ringing in the New Year?
Anywho.... /rant. Hope you all have some fantastic resolutions. Share yours! Mine is to get good grades (typical) and lose some weight (atypical). Happy New Decade y'all!
