Hello everyone, I am proud to present to you my new best friend, Mr. Tobias, which once used to be my imaginary friend and then became exacly what you are thinking it is, a owl playing harmonic. My mother bought me that little tinny thing sometime ago mainly due to the fact that someone told her that it would me bring good luck. Can it get anymore stupidier? I am totally aware of the fact that my mother is surely not the brightest cranyon the box (sorry mum, I'm so glad you can't understand a single word on this language) but still, this goes beyond her own fool things to do barriers. WTF?! How can a OWL PLAYING HARMONIC bring me luck?! Anyways, I am so bloody screwed, mostly because of my maths mock, that I am pretty sure that one of this days I'll find myself praying on my knees to this little creature, or whatever you want to call it. So, Thank you a lot mother, you always find another way to surprise me.
Have a legend, wait for it, legendary day.5 commentsFebruary 27th, 2009

The same hedious hair-style, the same fake smyle, the same incredibly fantastic tie, the same well-known dinning room. However, what an awesome NEW CELL PHONE. Oh yeah, in your face! Thank you dear uncle for your gentil offer.Anyways, after such a meaningless paragraph it is time for something more serious. Today I had this most amazing conversation in such a long time. I found myself talking to a 12 years old kid which wants to be a professional skateboarder about life, love, time, philosophy, personal experiences. Although he probably did not retain more than one or two sentences of my "lecture" I am pretty sure than one day he will remember my words. The thing is not that I am a wise men, a genius, an expert on the subject of "how to have a perfect life and reach happiness" it has all to do with rediscovering yourself and what really matters in life. Time passes so quickly that so little can be retained. Therefore, moments like this, small conversations, a smile, a laugh, a good afternoon spent downtown with one of your bestfriends talking in english for 2 hours and smoking a pack of ciggarrets, a reharsal with your band, make life really worth it. Do not seek for what is huge, astronomic, uncommon. The true amazing things are those to which we are so used that we no longer found joy on them. Be as amazing as you can be. We, by "we" I mean our generation, WE are different, WE think different, We work, live and amuse ourselves in a different way. So why not turning our world into a different thing? Why not being criative and innovative? Why not colaborating for a same goal? Why not all those things that we always thought that were wrong and we always wished to change and we have not done it yet? Why not my friends, why not?Have a nice day.Full of the joys of spring. And the "Most recent british idiomatic expression learnt" is: Do you really care about it? I don't think so.

Helloooooo ! Today I really had the time of my life and all because of band's rearhshal. I'm proud to tell you that we have a new song, "Is love an illusion?" (I just made it up. xD). However, not everything is as perfect as it may seem. Due to the fact that some random genius got confused and thought that the bloody studio was near a chinese shop, which was not, it took us almost one hour to arrive to the studio. After entering there everyone was starring at us laughing at our stupidity: "Hey, look, those are the kids which were lost! Ahaha, so funny! For them I have two words, Fuck you bastards (it turned out to be 3, but who cares?). Anyways, we really had a blast. Now talking about something totally different I must say that I really miss my cigars, is this called being addicted? Since my mother is not capable of understanding a single word of the English language I ought to think that I am not screwed however, I am quite sure that someone will suddenly notice that they do know me and so they'll call my parents to tell them this horrible piece of news. I just feel like telling these people: GET A LIFE!

“In the name of the best within you, do not sacrifice this world to those who are its worst. In the name of the values that keep you alive, do not let your vision of man be distorted by the ugly, the cowardly, the mindless in those who have never achieved his title. Do not lose your knowledge that man's proper estate is an upright posture, an intransigent mind and a step that travels unlimited roads. Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it's yours.” - Ayn Rand quotes
Even though I am surrounded by many people I tend to feel lonely. I really had a blody weird day, I'll tell you everything tomorrow.

High-Five ! :D
The energetic nature of the high-five made it a great gesture for the 80s but in the 90s there was a slight high-five backlash as it became regarded as cheesy. In the 21st century the high-five has entered a new era being used in both a post-modern self-deprecating or ironic gesture or in in its purest form as a symbol of celebration and congratulation.
Dear followers, please apologise me for skiping yesterday's picture but my mother forgot to bring home with her the portable internet modem and so I had no chance of turning your day into a legend, wait for it, legendary day! However, the bloody stupidifity of my hair style totally makes the so long awaitting worth it.
Have a nice day, full of the joys of spring.3 commentsFebruary 18th, 2009

Dear World,
My hair is getting way to big. Sorry mum and dad for looking so much like a bloody mess.
Hello everyone, my name is Tiago MagalhÃes and anticipating any possible joke (since I have heard them all) I do manage to know that my surname perfectly matches with the one the portuguese government gave to that ridiculous computer. In fact, I do feel angry about their action and so, as an act of protest, I'll dress myself as a computer on Carnival or the equivalent, Mardi Gras or Graas, whatever.
I am engaged on the most amazing and spectacular journey of them all, becoming a British. Although some of you may say, "Have you gone out of your mind?!" I will stick to my adventure. Therefore, complementary to my daily picture I am also going to post the "Most recent British idiomatic expression learnt" followed by a random sentence involving it. So, here it goes: Fool's errand
"Now I realise it was a fool's errand to seek for a bloody hot girl with brains".
Ps: This is not my room, it is my Dinning Room. How amazing is that? If it is your desire to, you may rate it from 0 to 10.
Double PS: I have spent my Valentine's Day alone, observing the two million couples I came across with. Keeping my fingers crossed, I hope next year I will finally find some bloody hot girl with enough dynamite to blow her nose (from the british idiom: "If her brains were dynamite she wouldn't have enough to blow her nose")
Have a nice day full of the joys of spring.
Yours sincerely,
Mr MagalhÃes1 commentFebruary 15th, 2009
