Flaming idealism. Stirring slogans. Evolution from revolution against tyranny. Totalitarianism instead of a paradise of progress, justice and equality.

All from the point of view of a bunch of farm animal.

George Orwell was a genius. This book, Animal Farm, was written in 1945 as if it would have been written in 2010.

He wrote 1984 in the 40s and predicted a world that strangely ressembles ours today.

I recommend George Orwell's Animal Farm today, in honor of #Bookweek.

so i had everything on hand.

you will need:
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
3 c. uncooked oatmeal
2 tbsp. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Oh hi there.

Is it Tuesday again already?

Time flies when you're...busy with school?

I hope everyone is having an amazing kick-ass week.

In honor of #Howto Week I've chosen a DB pop-up card.

We all know of my endless fascination with paper.

But first a disclaimer:

I @socialretard / DB / @thepopsiclesplints take NO responsibility if you injure / maim / mortally wound yourself while performing the steps listed below. This project involves sharp pointy objects and the infamous paper cut. If you do accidentally stab yourself, whatever you do, don't call an ambulance. Just lay on the floor and let yourself bleed out so that you won't pass on your defective genes. That being said unless you're 16 or older this requires ADULT SUPERVISION. Also, I recommend anyone nursing and or pregnant to refrain from this activity. If you've recently been injured and are wearing a neck brace / back brace / FINGER SPLINT, I would also not condone the following.

DO NOT HAVE SEX WHILE OPERATING HEAVY MACHINERY!

IF THE SENSATION LAST MORE THAN FOUR HOURS YOU SHOULD SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.

HAPPY MONDAY !

I wanted to thank you all for drawing friends for Bill. He had a great Valentines day.

well folks...
its been a fun #drawingcontestweek.

lets end with something easy.
& what could be easier than a stick figurine?

HOWEVER,
i do want you all to be creative with this.
take my figure as being "step one"
who ever comments next should add 1 or 2 small things...
& then go from there.
i would love to see an elaborate scene when this is all over.

welcome back boothers!
i'm @theworldisfalling, in case you forgot.
also, welcome to #drawingcontestweek.
so, this is my sad attempt at a drawing.
it's even sadder because my mother's an art teacher.

so basically here's the deal -
i decided to take a set of inanimate objects,
and make them semi-animate.
as you can see, i obviously chose the bathroom.
oh crap. i forgot a toilet.
. . .
anyway,
my challenge for you is to do the same.
except, choose a different set of inanimate objects.
also, don't draw them real well.
i'm already self-conscious enough.

so i'll see you next week.
and don't forget to -
draw away!
