This was taken on the Earth Hour 2010…27th March to b exact. We had a rally organized by our environmental club in college “E2PC”. Basically had to walk around the campus with candles. It was cool. Never thought I’d see the campus all blacked-out! Then we made a 60 outta da candles since it was the 60th Earth Hour!

This must be what ‘City of Heaven’ looks like!

This is somewhere over the Indian sub-continent. I was flying back to Chennai from Mumbai (my newly found ‘happy place’). The flight was around 6 am which means I had to check in an hour before the departure time and that is 5 am. I was groggy enough to think that I was floating in the air. My tired eyes caught a glimpse of the sky from the aircraft window. I was struck by the calm stretch of Stratocumulus (I think it’s the bit of curls!). And right above them was the moon among the expanse of crimson cirrus! That was quite a reviving sight for a lethargic soul caught up in an early morning travel schedule..
