So, we had a last minute rehearsal this afternoon before closing night. One of our cast members had to go to prom, so we were teaching his stand-in some of the dances from the show.
Can't believe the show is over, it's been such a part of my life for the past couple of months. I'm looking forward to another one next year!
Gettin' some work done at school. I spent all Spring Break at the theatre and left tons of grading and planning to do. It's been a productive afternoon so far though.
Grabbing a quick bowl of cereal before going back to the theatre. I've been working on the set by day and rehearsing by night. The show is going to be awesome, though. The set, costumes, and performers. So good.
Long day at the theater. We were doing a "tech rehearsal" or something, I forget what it's called. About 6.5 hours. But at least I don't work in the morning!
Decided to stop and do work with friends at the coffee shop.
Haven't boothed in over two months! Hope everybody's doing well.
I've been so busy, and finally it's Spring Break. But we're expecting thunderstorms all week, and tonight I'm not going anywhere due to the rain and the tornadoes. So, I realized "Time to booth!"
I'm going to be in a local production of My Fair Lady, which has meant 3-4 hour rehearsals on weeknights for a while. This coming week we have dress rehearsals and then we open on Friday. It's been fun but challenging, as I have not done a play in at least 15 years and I don't read music.
I'm still planning a motorcycle trip to Canada this summer...
And I watched a BBC short clip about the music industry and this Irish band, Yes Cadets, appeared and I think they are pretty sweet. I recommend giving them a listen:
So, this is what my cousin got me for Christmas. All the cousins drew names and bought one cousin a gift instead of theoretically buying gifts for everyone. He went to the Netherlands and I had told him I wanted to learn Dutch. Thus... Harry Potter in Dutch!
