Tension Myositis Syndrome has receeded, RSI was a joke, and we are back on the internet making up for lost time, but with lessons learnt (though not ones of an ergonomic or structural nature, we must say).
went walking, listening to Regina Spektor, found people, went to Callum's house, talked to old friends in the street in Kelburn, went to town, wandered, talked, went home via water, waterfront, touched the pacific ocean, through park, past US embasy, sat on bench, more Regina, home.
interested in mass vs. individual. in many respects. is having, or opting for sex like joining a political party? partaking fully in a religious faith? In some sense, can't they all be about immersing oneself in a unity and having a destruction of the individual? Is political fevour for unity (think extemeists, not modern day MMP say) tied in with sex in some way, and can sex be read in the same way as extremist politcs to a degree?
Is it the same as well as the human desire for that ultimate eternal paradise? A utopian political state, orgasm, heaven, all in the same category? With the acts for each as joining/participating in political activity, seeking a sexual partner and subsequent flirtation/foreplay, and going to church/being evangelical, getting pentecostal etc.? I know these are ideas much covered before, it's the classic link between a NAZI rally, a sexual orgasm and a pentecostal church right. Politics can ger religious, and in its extreme form orgasmic, and each for all and visa versa. It's just that what I've been reading has brought them up through my mind again.
EDIT: Let me add also, the hunting of a white whale (and perhaps too, the inability to capture it).
I'm not sure what to say, but I wanted to dailybooth. I must learn to touch type, I'm sure it'll help tendons. I love Bob Dylan, he's endless. And so cocky. He writes "I know that he [Lanois] wanted to understand me more as we went along, but you can't do that, not unless you like to do puzzles."
sleep? I feel like I look older. reading bob dylan's autobiography. what strikes me is how hard the guy worked, the amount he read, the talk of 'training his mind' and 'no time for girlfriends'. see california in the background? I feel so sleepy. everyone's leavinggg for RnV tomorrow. I enjoy books, and traveling, moving. I'm low on money and have rather painful tendons that are not particularily keen to heal.
"It's hard putting deep feelings into words. It's easier to write Das Kapital." - I agree.
