So, big development, I've got a job in London! My first grown-up proper job.
I just wish the circumstances of how it came about were different, but it was an offer I couldn't really turn down. I'm still sorting everything out, but if all goes well I'm going to try and find somewhere to stay near brick lane. If anyone needs a flat mate/ house share/ is renting a flat let me know!
Wow, demon glasses aren't a good look on me. Sill recovering from icky cold.
So, a bit of an up-and-down few days. CollecterMania was good fun but had a really low turn out down the artist alley end, sadly. I learned about blowing smoke up people's bottoms from QI, and lived the american dream with Ruth (it involves attempting to drink beer horizontally) And then I got what feels like the flu, hence the lack of makeup today. Bleh. Still, i get to stay in this week.
Saccharine Bear mug and Morning Face says it's time for tea. I think my tolerance to the effect of tea is rising the more I drink. @stevecook23 gave me some tea he created "In his artistic ability" this morning. Long live regretsy.com.
Finally made some decent clothes for my little doll Mune! Ruth gave him an awesome face-up and i made a sweater with a little white moon on it and some check trews :D I just need a proper wig for him now... and that little dress suit from dollzone would be awesome too...
My Marge Simpson impression! I'm so slow to get going when i'm doing lot of projects... it's like get up - spray paint something while in pyjamas so it dries - eat breakfast, read deisgn magazine - do blog post - play with renders a bit - look at DA - look at DB - actually get up - DB - ooh, it's lunch time...
Also i'd love it if you took a look at my blog: http://acupofkettle.blogspot.com i'm looking for feedback! It's supposed to be varied, eye-candyful and informative. I've just done a post on extreme knitting!
