Meeting the Head of a local Primary School this morning to discuss volunteering for a week or two. Oddly nervous as it's a nice school and I've been turned down for volunteering twice recently. It's probably because I've left applying late, but my degree came first.
Feeling dapper and my hair is actually behaving, which is brilliant considering this is the first time in over a week since I've worn hair wax and spray. Used to do it daily, but not needed to for work.
Do you style your hair or use.. cosmetics often, or just vanilla?
Finished my degree May 8th. Between now and then I spent a week in Northampton having some me time, relaxing, being a student, spending money, eating food and feeling weird. Had a friend from Scotland down, which was nice as well.
This week has been the first of full-time summer work, which I'm stuck in until August 22nd when I move out. Been intense so far as it's the height of trophy season and I'm "the guy" for trophies and engraving at work.
Started Karate again, after three years. There's a dojo in Peterborough, so refreshing myself this summer and earning my 3rd Kyu (brown belt) back. Joined a new gym. Amazing. Already feeling better, slimmer, a little fitter.

No. It's a discipline to me, and a time-honoured tradition passed down. Deviations/variations can be considered a "sport", and to be honest most clubs are more about the money these days, but Karate is all about the discipline and community.
Oh, and Martial Arts is an "art form".
Take that as you will.
