Fringe: One of the only non-anime shows I've watched in years, literally years. It's a nice change and it's making me want to watch house and similar stuff I've missed out on. Other shows I should know about or that you watch? It'd be cool to see what else is out there.

It's called Being Human and you should watch series one and two. It is a dark comedy about a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost that all decide to try and be like normal people and live together.

The show revolves around a corporation doing underground stuffs (known as "Dollhouses") across the globe which program individuals referred to as Actives (or Dolls) with temporary personalities and skills. Wealthy clients hire Actives from Dollhouses at great expense for various purposes. The series primarily follows the Active known as Echo, played by Eliza Dushku (who also served as producer), on her journey towards self-awareness.

It's an awesome show in my opinion. Too bad it got cancelled though. :(

I can't help it, I might be turning into a conformist..
All my current anime are awaiting on new episodes and I can't find anything else good to watch.. So I'm resorting to real television...

What have you been watching? You can always go back and watch finished series. I actually only watch two or three current series at a time, and have a huge backlog of older stuff that I watch in between.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
Gundam Unicorn (though apparently it's more an OVA).
Metal Fight Beyblade (On and off since there's no subs).

I've watched most other complete series I like the look of, I'll list:
07-Ghost, X'amD, Code Geass S1 & S2, Soul Eater, Gundam Destiny, Gundam Seed Destiny, 00Gundam S1 & S2, K-ON! (though that's apparently coming back), Lucky Star, 11eyes and probably more I've forgotten..

Check out Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, lots of over the top robot battles and manliness.
Macross Frontier is the other big mech series that popular over here right now. Check out the original series too if you haven't.

If you did dig Lucky Star and K-ON! then you should watch Azumanga Daioh.

And of course there are classics like FLCL, Cowboy Bebop\\Samurai Champloo, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Trigun, Great Teacher Onizuka. I could go on for a while, but those are the top ones I think that everyone needs to watch.
