Bonus trees brought to you by the "panorama" setting on my camera.
Snowpocalypse part deux is underway, we've already lost power once and that was just for the light snow showers and wintry mix, the heavy snow and severe weather emergency we're all gonna die isn't quite due to start yet, but it's warming up.
How are you all? Warm, cozy?
The sky was crazy today, during lunch there was a straight line across the sky between bright sunshine and deep grey darkness. Later it evolved into bright white clouds behind dark grey ones. I couldn't quite capture it, so I messed with the settings a bit to bring out the contrast and give a better idea, more below.
Congrats to @jemmahatty and @johncox88 for winning Is My Mother a Window? The correct answer was @johncox88 and @jemmahatty correctly guessed why. Joint win, because it's always a bit ambiguous as to who is actually commenting under which user name. @jemmahatty you should definitely insist on a prize (preferably one that's boothable/kid friendly). @johncox88 you should also insist on a prize, I have a feeling you can get exactly what you want.
This is the other window in the room, and from a few months ago, but I liked how the lawnmower cut paths in the leaves. Also, we've got wintry mix coming down so I thought it would be nice to take a moment and remember autumn.
In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day I voted in a special election
...it was last week but I was planning ahead. Clearly I'm the type that plans ahead.
I missed motherwindow yesterday out of laziness mostly (and going to watch season 3 of arrested development instead), but I think I want to try and booth every day this week, we'll see how that goes. How was your MLKJ day?
@ohheytherelaura swept yesterday's Is My Mother a Window?, covering all aspects. Which is convenient, as now she can wait for @xalliebabax's prize instead of mine.
