Also, today ends my (DEFINITELY INTENTIONAL) experiment with bizarro dailybooth wherein you -don't- take a picture every day for (give or take) a year. It was highly successful, as you can tell. For some reason, all but one or two of you stuck around, and one or two even showed up to replace the deserters.

Sorry for any suspense, laziness is the explanation. For Is My Mother a Window? @ohheytherelaura wins with the correct guess of @manderijn. The tulip because she's Dutch and the hat over her eyes for obvious reasons. Her finger in Dick Van Dyke, because she's Dutch and therefore an incarnation of the Hero of Haarlem. The orange background for manderijn (Dutch for Mandarin orange, albeit spelled "mandarijn"). The bomb exploding the brain for "Blow Your Mind" a performance piece she partcipated in.
