Sketches for my "Practical Final Exam Art Class".
I finished the real painting (see last booth) last Friday. I think I worked on it for like 12 hours in total.
That's a lot for such a little painting.
I made a planning for the entire month May, since the final exams begin halfway May and I really have to study. I hope I can force myself to learn everyday. I keep myself telling me that it's only for a month and then I'll have a three-month holidays. It'll be all worth it. Eventually..

I started yesterday and I've been working on it for six hours now of which four hours on the f*cking clouds!?!!
Tomorrow I have four more hours to finish it.

The hot weather's making me slow.
I ate too many easter chocolate eggs today.
I no longer have an overbite, but now I have to wear my elastics in a triangle. It hurts so much.
I find it strange how I still managed to eat so much easter chocolate eggs..

I didn't even start with the real painting yet.
I only have sketches.
But everything'll be fine.
Gaga did a great job. Judas is amazing.
I've been constantly playin' it at full volume while finishing my project for school. It's almost done, thank God..
But in the cultural sense
I just speak in future tense.

Only exactly one month left and then I'll be having the first one of my finals. Time flies. It really does, with 3,0x10^8 meters/second. O wait, that's the speed of light.
Gravity has an influence on time! If you stand near something heavy, for example one of the piramids of Gizeh, time will go slower. Sound weird. Scientist also say that time will stop in like 3.5 billion years, just like pushing the pause button on your remote control.
Hard to believe since the universe expands accelerated.
I'm not even nervous for the finals anymore. My grade list is fine so I have a good basis to start with.
I also bought my ticket for Sziget, a seven days music festival on an island near Budapest, Hungary. I'm so excited! It'll probably the best holidays of my life yet. I hope I get my driving license before the end of June, so I can also go on a road trip through Europe with two friends, because if I don't have my driving license by then, my parents won't let me borrow one of their cars.
Oh, and if I'm passing my finals and get my diploma for the highest level of secondary education in the Netherlands my parents will probably buy me my own single-lens reflex camera, so I can take beautiful pictures on all my adventures in the three months after the finals. Second hand, but awesome nevertheless.
And else I'll buy one myself, haha.
I'm going to continue a project I've been constantly working on the past week or so. I want it to be finished before Monday.

I'm really busy with my final artwork which is also a final exam, called "Practical Final Exam Art Class". You could choose between six different themes and I chose "Ophelia" (Hamlet, William Shakespeare).
I think I'm going to paint her floating on the surface of a lake at night, while the moonlight is touching her face. I think it'll emphasize the atmosphere of the whole story. If you don't know the story, you should really search for it on Google, or something. The scene in which she dies, she drowns to be precise, is really beautiful.
Ahwell, it's time for me to go to bed.

This is how I'll look like without braces. I can't wait till they get out. I've been wearing them for too long now.
Today, I've been getting grades back from the test week I had last week and they're 'okay'. I'm probably going to redo the Maths test.
Only three weeks left of practicing exam assignments from previous exams, two weeks holidays which you can't really call holidays since everyone will be learning for their finals and then the real finals. It's gonna be the most hectic and important period in my life since my future depends on it. Without a diploma I can't get into university.. I won't survive all of this.

Today I bought the red white striped t-shirt you can see in the picture, but I didn't take a picture of it yet, so I just copied it from the H&M website and paste it on a picture of me and edited it a bit. Actually, it would've taken less time to just take a picture of me wearing it. But this also gives an impression, rrright?
Next Thursday is gonna be like the most important day in my life yet! I'm so hysterical, frightened, excited and nervous at the same time. Y'know why? Next Thursday evening I'm going to Amsterdam to have an admission interview at the Rietveld Acadamy. It's the best university of applied sciences for Fine Arts and Design in the Netherlands. I have to take my portfolio with me.
If they like my work and I have the right reasons why I should be admitted to the Rietveld Acadamy then I can take the entrance examination. Two weeks before that entrance examination I'll receive an invitation and two home assignments by e-mail.

Too bad I haven't got a good camera.. else I'd have taken a lot of pictures. Savin' for one, but first I have to pay my driving lessons, license, my trips in the summer holidays after the finals and then see if I have enough money left for a laptop and a camera.

Today, the sun is shining brightly and creating an enormous amount of freckles on my face. Learning for a French and English test while listening to Rihanna and Adele. Quite a combination, rrright?!
