    Well... you can always treat it or stress it. Tear it up, loosen some threads to make it look worn. To can dye it, bleach it.
    You can add on appliques and the like as well.

    And if you just don't like the shape it's in, if you can sew you could turn it into other things. A vest, a backpack, pillow... whatever =]

    Personally though? I'd think it'd look awesome dyed black. As is, or as a vest or backpack, but of course, it's up to you ^_^

    @mickie what if I dye it black and then stone wash it ,would that work? or should I stone wash it first? thanks for the ideas/help by the way !:]

    Well if you stonewash first, the dye would just completely cover your work.
    As is, stone washing at home is kind of hard and can damage your machine. (Think small, abrasive stones swirling around a metal machine. Eech.)

    What you can do though is dye it black, and then use some sandpaper in certain areas to give a similar effect to stonewashing.

    Don't forget to wear gloves when you dye, though!
