Night Dailyboothers.

So, many people tell me that I don't dress up often are right. I dressed up nice today to go out for dinner and a movie with my (soon to be) hubby because today marked our one year. I had a wonderful afternoon, but an even better evening. Now tomorrow I am travel all the way to Woodstock, New Brunswick, with Frank's mother to pick up his brother and brothers girlfriend (they'll be here for two weeks once they get here).

Question: when do you normally get dressed up nice?

All right, so it is now 4:10am (in the middle of the night) and I am faced with the issue of not being able to sleep. Which would explain why I look terrible in my photo, but I don't really give a damn. I was able to get to sleep for about two and a half hours until my daughter woke up needing her bum changed and to be feed. I got her feed, and my (soon to be) hubby got her changed. Now that I've got her put back to bed with a clean bum and full belly, I've tried going back to sleep, but it's just not working out for me in the least bit.

Question: what is it that you do to try and get to sleep when it's almost impossible to sleep in the first place?

After one long time of trying to deal with the pain that I was in, and still having to get up and tend to my daughters every need, this is what I am going to sit here and eat this morning. I'm upset, mad, and frustrated about certain things so these will be my "comfort" food for now.

Question: ever had a long night and woke up in the morning to have comfort food?

Yup, you see it right. I actually have a glass full of mini M&M's to eat. Sure chocolate might not be the best thing to eat, but they sure do taste good. Now all I need is to find a glass (or can) of soda. Then, then I'n be all set for the afternoon.

Late Night Dailyboothers.

Old habits die hard . . . harder then normal right about now.

Well it's 12:28am where I am at, and unforanitely I am not able to sleep because of what happened today. I'm not sure how many of you actually take the time to read these things, but it would be nice if someone would read this one and help me out throughout my situation that I am stuck within.

I couldn't believe it. I actually found my wedding dress. It's nothing of what I thought it would be, and it's actually your sterotipical type too. I knew I found the dress when I was standing in front of the mirror looking at it, talking with Frank at the same time, and I just felt like I was ready to ball my eyes out completely. That's how I knew it was the dress I was looking for.

I had asked Frank to take a picture of the front and bacl so I was able to show my Mother once we went back to my parents place to pick up Viktoria. But then there was a part of me that wanted to call and tell her that I had found it, and that's when things went down hill from there. And this is how the conversation went (and i wwon't ever forget it eihter;

Me: so we have a minor problem."
Mum: ". . . what?"
Me: "It'e fine. We're both okay. I'm just saying we now have a minor problem."
Mum: "Okay, what?"
Me: "I found my dress . . ."
Mum: "Bummer."
Me: "What do you mean bummer?"
Mum: [begins to laughs a little]
Me: "It's not funny. How is that funny?"
Mum: "You don't have the money for it."
Me: [goes silent]
Mum: "You still there? Hello?"
Me: "Yeah, why?"
Mum: "The line was silent. I thought you hung up."
Me: "No."
Mum: "Well you don't have the money for it . . . "
Me: [hung up the phone on my mother]

It may not seem like a big deal to someone else, but this was a huge deal to me. I thought my Mother would at least be happy for me, try to help figure out a way to pay for it, and be interested in everything a little bit more then she was . . . and not laugh at some thing that meant a whole fuck of a lot to me.

What bothers me most about it, though, is the fact she never asked how much it was, and then when I got home and told her how much it was she told me it was too much to pay for a wedding dress like that. To think, I thought I was doing great finding a wedding dress I fell madly in love with for under $1000 dollars. I guess it's still too much for my Mother to deal with, and I even told Susan that I am thinking about not having a full blown wedding . . . but Frank and I just getting eloped instead. Then we only need to people to stand in for us, and his parents are able to do that. Then a few years from now actually end up having our big wedding when we are able to afford it a little more.

That is, and always will be, one of my Mothers all time lows.

Evening Dailyboothers.

So, I thought that it was possible to turn a bad day around. It turns out that it wasn't possible, and became the much worse for me in the long run of things. I found my dream wedding dress, and the cost is within the three digits. Thought I was doing great till I called my mother to tell her about it. She laughed at me, told me I didn't have the money for it, and then turned around in front of my father and said she never did what she did. It upset me to the point of crying, and pissed me off enough I won't talk with my mother.

It's sad. I thought she was willing to help me pay for the dress when I first originally asked her about it in front of my brothers girlfriend and my (soon to be) husband. I guess that I was wrong because now I am faced with trying to figure out for to pay for it myself.

This is terrible. I have yet to got for my warm bath, and I already want this damn day to be over. All this rain is just making for a terrible day.

Morning Dailyboothers

Woke up this morning to feed my daughter, came out to the livingroom and realized that it's piss pooring rain outside. My first thought was that it's almost the middle of December and we should be getting snow by now. The second thought was that today is going to suck more then I thought it ever could. So, right now, I am going to go have a nice fucking warm bath to start off my day in all hopes that today turns out to be all right with everything that needs to be done / happen.
