@jimbonius asked about pictures from my travels to africa. There are really too many fondly memorable ones to booth about the journey but I will add some more in the comments below (LongBooth).
In the meantime this is me (1990) returning from M'hamid, an outpost on the edge of the Sahara. Reclining on the prayer mat that I swapped my broken walkman for while I load the bowl of the 'sepsi' I bought in Casablanca (I think). The title is 'Far from the Crowds' since where ever we stopped it would be inevitable that 2 minutes later some local would pop up and want to be friendly...

it took me half an hour to do my makeup today...that's what i get for watching youtube make-up tutorials. it looks super natural....but i used like...six different eyeshadows..yay layering..and then bronzer..blush..a shiny bright eyeshadow for my cheeks...lip liner..lipstick..AND lipgloss.
jeez.
i felt like experimenting now i get to go work. blech. time to find food first though. ho hum.
oh and @Serendip here's a smile. just a lil one..but still

This is always the hard part, it's easy to post a picture, but then you have to blog, and like the 5 simple random facts, finding important interesting not lame things to say is hard...

I think it is inevitable that civilisations fail. When the individuals are not treated like people because the multinational corporations, and the governments have all their interactions with those individuals planned out in advance according to market reseach, the will of the population slowly evolves into a monster, a civilisation eating monster. Or perhaps a dragon who starts eating it's tail and can't stop eating...

Older guy in a youngsters world, things change, hopefully, and then again hopefully not. Arn't we meant to be honing our lives to suit ourselves, what the heck went wrong then, grrrr. I feel like a troll, but i am not trying to be one, i am just single and have been single for 99% of my life, and that is 99% not what I wanted. I feel like it's all over for me, but something still wants to fight, trouble is i'm a whimp lol.

I like myself, but it is getting harder and harder to keep it up, the world goes shadowy, and I am haunted by my unfulfilled desires, so many years...

Anyway, here I am, I'm not good at cementing relationships, but I am kind of outgoing, I hope for the best.
