Welcome to @nightiscoming! A man with an evocative name and one that has caused me to check his booth out before now. He is a self confessed nerd and would like to be 'there' rather than here (I think he seeks adventure of the outdoors)! Thank you for the plug for my website also (http://www.pictures-of-paradise.com) I really liked that.

Just watched 2012 and was thought it was pretty good, rather tainted with the hollywood stink but it's hard to avoid that with a large budget movie such as this. Only passing comments on the predictions of some civilisations that 2012 is the END but that is fine by me, I dont want to get on any bandwagons particularly...

I think my friends that I am going to have to change my boothing habits alas... I am spending all my time here and watching YouTube. I have this good energy to go and play in Premiere with video most days but I just don't end up getting there and even though I love doing things here I want to creatively produce.
I know I am creative here but it is different. DB has drawn a lot of creativity out of me there is no denying that, but it is not enough...
Who knows what will be, but if I am not commenting so often on peoples pictures or reading all the comments then this will give you a possible reason...

onwards till the mind can see not and the yearning of the heart causes us to dream of what might be. That these dreams be vivid and joy filled, that these dreams be a template we might follow as an architect would follow the plans of the dreamer of the lover of the life <3

The Picture is of a Manhole cover and a Seagull, both found in Island Bay of Wellington. The Seagull's a Red Billed Gull, and I'm pretty sure these are protected by the Maori.
Thanks to an incident long ago where the birds were disturbed by some raiding warriors, and made such a fuss that the local Maori were warned and consequently lived to claim that the birds carried the spirit of their ancestors, and they should be given due respect.

I recommend everyone should go and have a look at @Sketch and her enormous pencil, she looks like a bunch of fun :)

This picture today is of one of the fans that were part of the fun little packages given to the girls that came to my nephews 7th birthday party the other day. I thought they were rather beautiful and such a nice touch. The place looked like a glittery disaster zone afterwards but everyone had a good time, it was all worth it. :)

My picture is of a bush fire in Titahi Bay, about 17 miles from where I live. Looking at the hill you would think that there is nothing to burn but I think looks are deceptive, also the valleys hold far more burnable matter to make up for the hills lack.

Part II of the Stick insect, I have repaired the missing leg and replaced one, plus it now has those oposing thumb things that the monkeys all like so much!

Is this what @jimbonius meant by steadily building up a portrait of myself? I'm not sure hehe.

On my fridge the other day, I spied this creature climbing up.
They are a curious wee beasty, stick insects. I wonder do they grow new legs or does this one have to live with five legs now? I guess it's an Insec until it does grow a new one...

So I was at my sisters place the other day, it was a scorching hot day. I found myself siting on the grass in a paddock with this and one other horse in it. This one walked up to me and I felt a desire to get to my feet, but I stayed sitting while he gently smelt and slightly nustled my foot :)
