Hi, I'm a volunteer can I help you?
As it turned out, I couldn't.
First night of being an 'usher'/ticket man, and one person came. ONE.
So I didn't get any experience, met some of the other people, and watched Asmar and Azur, something like that.
Actually quite good, despite only one language out of the two was subtitled. That helped.
The building manager's a nutter. He's one of those people that leans in when he talks, invades your personal space. Bit disconcerting.
And when I said I wanted to do Film Studies at university, he said 'No, try again'
Tried to avoid him after that.
And now I've got a language essay to do for tomorrow on two recipes; one for toffee, one for roast turkey.
OH I LIVE THE HIGH LIFE.
This swimsuit came out in 1948. The top is wired and clips on. It didn't catch on, though there was some small benefit of a more complete tan in a time when a tan was regarded as "healthy".
My guess: they tended to pop off when a lady dived into the pool. LOL! "Eyes were put out!"
On the night you left I came over
And we peeled the freckles from our shoulders
Our brand new coats so flushed and pink
And I knew your heart I couldn't win
Cause the season's change was a conduit
And we'd left our love in our summer skin
