Yay For Florence! Had to buy this when I saw the cover. She is gorgeous and delightful and wonderful.
In other news, they began knocking my old school down today, which made me a bit sad, and it was utterly surreal to see somewhere that you know so well with half a wall missing.
Most Strange.
And now I must do some maths. I hate maths, and I think it is because it is purely a series of processes of the mind; that which ceases to be existentially, and yet there is no benefit to the mind itself. There is no beauty, nor insight or even introspection prompted, as with words. But enough rambling (pontificating).Have a lovely night darlings.5 commentsApril 27th, 2010

RAWR. Well, less of a tiger and more of some sort of shrew it appears. I've had a wonderful past while. On Sunday I went to Edinburgh, had some tea, went to some Vintage shops (because I'm so kookie and fun) and went to the opera which was hopelessly romantic and beautiful. Back to school now though, with exams soon and other unpleasantness. It's my piano, among other things that keeps me sane. Also, I've not said this yet, but thank you to all 41 followers, who put up with my whimsy-mongering and narcissism. I heart you all big time x

Accidental photo. So yes, this is me on holiday. A day late, our car broke down and we were left at the side if the motorway for hours, with no picnicking supplies whatsoever. Nor tea! (I hate the spelling of "picnicking".). Also, went to an art exhibition today, saw some Vettrianos, preffered some Peploes, and then departed. But yes, here now, home soon, Summer later.

"I want the good wine, the swirl in crystal
surrendering the bruised scent of blackberries,
or cherries, the rich spurt in the back
of the throat, the holding it there before swallowing.
Give me the lover who yanks open the door
of his house and presses me to the wallÂ
in the dim hallway, and keeps me there until I'm drenched
and shaking, whose kisses arrive by the boatload
And begin their delicious diaspora
through the cities and small towns of my body.
To hell with the saints, the martyrs,
to hell with the next world and it's pallid angels.
I want this world. I want to walk into
the ocean and feel it trying to drag me alongÂ
like I'm nothing but a broken bit of scratched glass,
and I want to resist it. I want to go
staggering and flailing my way
through bars and back rooms,
through the gleaming hotels and the weedy
lots of abandoned sunflowers, I want to
lie down somehere and suffer for love until
it nearly kills me, and then I want to get up again
and put on that little black dress and wait
for you, yes you, to come over here
and get down on your knees and tell me
just how fucking good I look."
It's a poem I found today, which I think I love. I apologise for the occassional vulgarity, but it's Naked Friday, I presume you're feeling a bit raunchy anyway.12 commentsApril 9th, 2010

So these are my glitter-shoes. I LOVE them; they are my two favourite criteria, both dainty and sparkly. I have revision classes starting tomorrow (in the holidays, I know), but once these exams are over I shall have the most wonderful summer ever. With lots of dancing and debauchery. I know you wouldn't have it any other way x

So, since my last update I've danced, chanced, and generally had a wonderful time. It's the holidays, which makes me happy because of the unusual presence of sun and stars, and the limitless possibilities of how you could spend your day doing anything, and yet are most contented when it is invested in doing nothing x

So it seems I have a thing for bow ties.
And I think I do.
Such a long day today, an exam followed by playing in a concert. I did play a harpsichord though, which was kind of nice. And, currently there is THE MOST horrible weather occurring, hence the windswept interesting-ness.16 commentsMarch 30th, 2010

A bit of a sad booth today, and it's cold and it's raining. Somebody hold me. However, in brighter news, I'm wearing Rhinestones, and some birds have started building a nest just outside my window, which is kind of nice. <3

Why hello there. It would seem I have a rather busy weekend, what with essays and paintings and rehearsals and such. Still, I've just started re-watching series two of The Mighty Boosh, so that makes everything alright. Oh the things I'd do to Noel Fielding... x
