@crimsong19 Lost as in they get dropped off 500 miles from where they need to get to, and they have restrictions on how they can get there. For example, they weren't allowed to spend any money, which means you have to hitch and talk your way onto public transport.

Haha, not quite... All of what @the_who_ru said is right, apart from it was 100 miles as the crow flies (so about 150 on the roads), and not 500... I think if it were 500 we wouldn't be back yet :P

@sazmerelda and @the_who_ru you'd have a interesting time being 500 miles from anywhere and still on (the island of) Britain! *grin* By way of comparison, Plymouth to Inverness is only 642 miles by car... almost the entire length of the island!
